Much BETTER than any auto store steering wheel cover!
I bought this to cover the worn out steering wheel on my 2008 Honda CRV. I previously had a โpleatherโ steering wheel cover from Advance Auto, and this is soooo much better! Itโs genuine leather, and it looks and fits great if you follow the size chart. Tip #1: After sliding the cover over your steering wheel (with the seem in the center, at the bottom), line up all the holes with their counterpart on the other side before you begin stitching. It will look a lot neater if itโs lined up perfectly. I used a mirror to count the empty holes behind each spoke, and then marked my starting and stopping holes on both sides with a metallic Sharpie to make sure it stayed lined up well, with no wrinkles or stitching errors. Tip #2: If your steering wheel is thicker at the 10 & 2 positions, you may need to stretch the leather to avoid a gap there. Even though I ordered the correct size, based on the thicker circumference at my 10 & 2 positions, I had a gap between the leather when I got to the 10:00 position. No matter how tightly I pulled the thread, I couldnโt close the gap, so I thought it was too small. When I got to the 2:00 position, it occurred to me that maybe I could stretch the leather to fit. So I got 2 pairs of pliers and pulled both sides of the leather to stretch it a little, and then I was able to stitch it closed without a gap there. Tip #3: Rather than using โdummyโ stitches in front of and behind the spokes, I tucked the leather under. As long as itโs stitched tightly on both sides of the spokes, it should stay tucked with no problem. I did tuck a small piece of double-sided tape underneath to hold it in place until I got it stitched on both sides. There are several ways you can sew the cover on. The quickest and easiest way would be the straight-stitch. I opted to cross-stitch mine, because I think it looks neater and more professional. Cross-stitching requires more time, more thread, and simultaneously using 2 needles. Therefore, I appreciated that Bellinous included 3 LONG pieces of thread, each with an attached needle, which was more than enough to get the job done. The installation took me approximately 3-1/2 hours. Iโm attaching photos and a video of the finished product. I wanted to video the stitching process, but I didnโt have any way to hold the camera at those awkward angles. If Bellinous wants to send me a couple small leather samples and thread, Iโd be happy to make an instructional cross-stitch video. I am very happy with the quality, fit, and final appearance of this steering wheel cover. I expect it will last a lot longer than the cheap slip-on cover I previously had, and it was actually LESS expensive! Great quality for the price!

Perfect fit and quality product
Shipped fast and seems like high quality leather. It seem d a little tight getting it in the wheel, but ended up a perfect fit once it was laced up. I used the sizing guide and it was perfect. It took me almost four hours to do the job. My installation was on a lawn tractor that the squirrels had chewed on the steering wheel. It now looks like new and feels better than new. My kit contained three pieces and f waxed thread and three needles. I only used two of the threads. I did the baseball stitch. Contrary to reviews I read, I didn't break any needles. Overall I am thrilled with the quality, and the final installation.

Great kit
Variation: L4 Brown Fantastic product. Great quality leather and very nice thread and needles. Conforms well to the wheel and pretty easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Can't speak on the longevity of the finish but time will tell My package came with 3 lengths of thread which was perfect for the stitch I chose. I used 2 lengths to run a saddle stitch along each perimeter prior to putting it on the wheel. Then I used the last length to make my Basting pattern and affix to the wheel. Would absolutely use this product again.

Worth a try!
I've never stitched anything before ever and I am happy with results! For those of you wondering, this does not come with any clear and concise instructions. (Thats why 4 stars) the leather is real and of very high quality and am very happy with the leather. I do feel I could do better again and I learned alot, but this will take you about 2hrs or so to do. This isn't a quick process but it was fun for me. I wish they would have provided more instructions. There is a paper with some literal typed out links to videos, no qr codes so you have to search the videos yourself. The videos are over a decade old and have no audio and appear to be filmed with a flip phone. Had to find another video. Highly recommend giving this a try, its way better than any buy off the shelf cover you could buy.

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ | Looks Factory, Feels Luxurious โ Worth the Time and Effort
Installed this Belinous leather steering wheel cover on a 2010 Kia Soul, and the result exceeded my expectations. The install process took about three hours, but once I got the hang of the stitching technique, it was smooth sailing. The kit came with everything needed, and the thread held up greatโno fraying or snapping. I ended up using a custom stitch pattern because the thread was pulling through the cover a little, but once I adjusted, it came out fantastic. The fit is perfectโtight, flush, and solid all the way around. No sagging or loose areas. The leather feels premiumโsmooth, soft, and comfortable to grip. It doesnโt get slippery even when your hands sweat, which is a big plus during long drives or hot days. Iโve had it installed for a couple of months now, and it still looks brand new with no visible wear. The cover also enhanced the appearance of the steering wheel, making it look fresher and more refined. For the price, itโs a no-brainerโand yes, Iโve already recommended it to a few friends. โธป โ Pros: โข High-quality leather feel โข Tight, OEM-like fit โข Customizable stitch pattern โข Comfortable, non-slip grip โข Great appearance and durability โ Minor Notes: โข Learning curve with stitching, but worth it โข Took a few hours, so be ready to commit some time

Great quality product, perfect fit, easy install.
Great quality leather, well-made, and enough string for a variety of stitching options. I opted for the simple straight stitch, but instructions are available for baseball stitch or cross stitch or any others. Installation took about two hours, but I would count on three. End result is great.

What's not to like about leather?
I bought this because it has lots of size options. I bought the M3 size and the fit was about perfect. I had to stretch it a bit to get it around the steering wheel, but that makes sure it will grip well. I removed the steering wheel to do the installation because it's the middle of California in the summer. That might have made it more difficult to install, but I did it in an air conditioned room. I used a baseball stitch to sew it on and it took about two hours to do. This is something you should take your time with. Adjust as necessary to keep the seam straight, but it will come together. I chose plain black with no patterns or anything because that's going to look better longer. It is real leather and feels very nice and natural on the hands. The wrap is tight around the wheel and it really changes the personality of that basic control instrument. It is no longer just a steering wheel, but a leather wrapped steering wheel. It feels just a bit cooler after a hot day in the sun and quickly comes down to a comfortable temp once the air conditioning starts up. The wrap is tight against the wheel with no slipping or moving and looks wonderful. But make no mistake, this is not a short job. You need to plan for at least two hours to do it and the instructions will tell you the same. There are several YouTube videos you can watch that will demonstrate the proper techniques and methods, or you can experiment with it. There was plenty enough thread and it came with two needles. Some stitches require two needles, so that's good. The leather will probably outlast the rest of the upholstery in the car and it will continue to look and feel great the entire time. It doesn't require a ton of skill to do it, just time and attention to detail You must be patient when installing it, or pay your neighbor a few bucks to do it for you. It will be worth the trouble.

Cheap but there are better options
Definitely allow 2-3hrs to install, disappointing that one string out of two was not enough for the full wheel. Also the holes I feel are merely suggestions. Almost impossible to use the back ones and was constantly having to make my own holes which took effort and even snapped one of the two needles. I have bought the more expensive wheelskin sewing ones and they were much easier to sew, much bigger holes and thicker leather for the needle. If you want cheap and harder get this option, if you want a better leather, more choice in style and MUCH easier holes get the real leather wheel skins. Not a bad product for cheap but you will get frustrated doing it.
