I honestly don't remember why I bought this. But it now sits in my car and was super helpful when my family decided to make a trip to a arches national park and wanted to bird watch. Now they are "mini bird watching goggles" (per my niece) and they sit in my car and they will never move.The case is thin and can be stuffed in a pocket and you'd have no worry bout this being ripped. The binoculars themselves are sturdy and can handle being dropped on sandstone and gravel with without breaking. The lens are clear and the eye spacing can be adjusted for better fit.I do think this was a good price and is super great, even if you forget why you bought it.

I bought these as a birthday present for a keen bird watcher. Not as the best binoculars ever but as something you could have in your pocket so if you see something interesting you have some lenses to hand. I had no idea how small they really are and just how well they met my criteria until they arrived on my doorstep. Since given as a gift and I asked after them a week or two a go, are they a good present? The answer is yes and better than some of the other binoculars he has. I might buy some for myself, although also considering a monocular.

During my search for a small binoculars, compact enough to easily carry with me during hiking to observe birds and other wildlife, I decided on this one based on its positive reviews and low price. Upon receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised by its small size (almost cute) and a bright, clear optic it provided, considering how much it cost. Yes, as previously reported by some reviewers there was initially a strong odor when I opened the package but after I left it outside on the counter for a few days, this odor was gone. Its overall physical build was solid and functional. I've taken it out for a few outings and it has served me well.I am quite happy with my choice.
