Q: Will peacock metal statue stand sturdy used in my home displayed and not topple easily

Mine is currently inside the house and standing perfectly fine and very stable. I plan to move it outside once my landscaping project is done. The peacock came with some metal spikes to hold it in the ground to keep it from blowing away.

Q: can I spray something on my peacock garden staute to keep it from oxidizing and losing its beautiful color?

I just bought a can of spray on polyurethane to spray on mine. It has been outside for 8 weeks with no tarnishing but I do not want to take any chances. It is beautiful.
