What is the shipping dimension and weight?

The approximate shipping dimensions of Arc are: 50in L x 8.24in H x 9.14in D and the overall package weight is approximately 25 lbs.

If your on a budget. is it better to pair the bar with a sub or two sl ones? which is better bang for the buck?

Look into the JBL Bar 9.1, it's my top pick. Costs 50% less and in most professional reviews comes out ahead of this Sonos setup, plus it has true wireless surrounds INCUDED and supports more audio formats.

Is there a way to use the true play feature without having an apple device? seems unfair to force the sonos buyer to buy an apple device.

I agree but nope must have an apple device to tune

Does anyone have any issues with the audio cutting out from the arc?

Not to date. It was a little fuzzy when I first hooked it up. But, it was due to a loose HDMI connection. In addition, the ARC learns your environment as it gets acclimated.
