There is no comparison for this product!
My hubby works in landscaping, toiling long hours in the weather. Working in the rain, mud, mulch, dirt, sun, and heat, his body takes a beating to say the least. He's stuck to one particular model of tennis shoe for years as even the $300 shoes we bought lasted no longer than one season. As a result of unfortunate medical issues, I got behind in keeping up a backup pair of shoes on hand for him. Thus, he had to wear a different pair of tennis shoes to work.Bad idea.He came home with his feet torn up. I am now regretting not taking pictures, as they were so awful I teared up just looking at them. Due to my latex and adhesive allergies, all bandages and tape were gone from our first aid kit. I turned to the Internet for ideas for healing his feet without spending any money. A friend recommended this product, as her sister, a career ballerina, used it for years.I hedged. (But the money, the money!)I tried the cream I had purchased from local Mennonites and wrapped his feet. In order to touch his feet I had to give him pain meds that almost knocked him out. (Yep, I drugged my hubby. He needed it!)We soaked his feet in Epsom salt foot baths. I tried to convince him to let me apply raw honey but he refused. *sigh*I finally gave in and ordered this product. Three days later, my hubby came home from working 12 hours IN THE RAIN, while wearing really cheap shoes that fell apart within the week (nevertheless, thank you Freecycle). The 2nd skin was still on his feet, he reported that it didn't hurt or rub, and his feet HEALED! He is a walking, talking, testimony to the fact that this product actually works.

Running with blisters!!! Challenge accepted!
I was skeptical of these but saw a plug for them on a running facebook page. I flubbed a race once because of blisters. I am signed up for the same race soon and was looking for a solution for the blister problem. I recently did 10 miles and developed a little blister/hot spot on my pinky toe. I had to run again a couple days later and the blister/hot spot was still irritated so I decided to try the dressing as a trial run. I cut the moist pad to size and applied it to my toe and then the covering a little bigger and applied it as well. I thought it would be noticeable but it wasn't. I did my run and felt zero friction on the aforementioned irritated spot. I am pumped to have finally found a solution! I plan to cut some of these in various sizes and keep them in a ziploc bag for the race. The blisters will not thwart my efforts this time!

this is probably super convenient. Note
The pads definitely help with pain/discomfort and healing. The adhesive bandaging that comes in this pack says non-latex, but when I took off the adhesive part, I had a red skin irritation that was very itchy and similar to my reaction to latex bandaging after wearing for 24 hours. If you have skin sensitivities, I would try the second skin pads alone and couple with gauze and cloth tape, not the bandages packaged here. If you don't have skin issues, this is probably super convenient. Note: I didn't try cutting the second skin pads to size because I didn't need to do so, but I'm not certain they would be easy to cut.

works awesome
These really work! While I haven't used these on my feet, I always bring them when we go hiking. My youngest daughter had some new boots on our last hiking trip, and she started to form some blisters. We put 2nd Skin on her and didn't hear any more complaints for the rest of the trip. In fact, she actually said it felt good. My only complaint about this particular kit is that it doesn't come with enough of the adhesive strips, but I have a feeling duck tape might work in their place.

I had a pair of shoes that are super comfy but rubbed a spot on my heel in an uncomfortable easy if worn too long. My daughter and I went on a week long, faced paced, Europe tour this past spring break. We walked a minimum of 12 miles a day (bare minimum) and these stuck the whole week and I never felt that rubbing once. These are unpenitratable.

Miracle in a Box
I remembered 2nd Skin from my high school days, but I couldn't find it in any of the local stores or pharmacies. Thank goodness it's still on Amazon. I have a silver-dollar-sized blister on my arch from a long training run. I used Tegaderm sheets at first to keep it clean, but that didn't cushion enough to run on it without the blister refilling and getting bigger. Today I used the 2nd Skin (able to cut it perfectly to size!), put the athletic adhesive over it and wrapped the whole thing with self-adhesive wrap. It stayed put for 10 miles! I have confidence this is the best first aid I can use for my marathon in two weeks. I think it will hold up, and it certainly provides cushion and relief. For your weird, terrible or huge blisters, this is the stuff!

I wanted to use these for blister prevention. I went on vacation and walked everywhere all day long, so I needed something to protect my blister-prone toes. They seemed to work pretty well, but the moist pads didn't stay very well. I was using them on my toes, so I'm wondering if I just cut the size a bit too big. I did end up getting a blister on the 3rd day of walking around (normally I get them on the first!) and the moist pad worked much better for protecting and comforting an existing blister.

Helped tremendously
I play roller derby and recently got new skates. They caused a deep, open, painful blister on the inside arch of my left foot. We travel extensively and have playoffs coming up next week so resting and letting it heal wasn't an option. I received the kit and applied the padding and protection as directed. Wow - what a difference! Almost no pain, no additional damage to the wound and it seems like it's healing quickly. Would absolutely buy again, in fact - ordering another now to keep on hand for the future.
