I love the taste of this. I add it to my regular coffee, 50/50.

To be clear this is not like coffee. It can be prepared as coffee, but it won't replace the taste or the aroma of the coffee at least not the black coffee. Now, this can be prepared as a French vanilla coffee or spiced coffee and it will be good enough. If you like a caffeine free coffee substitute to use spices or creamers this will be good. I really like it specially if I want to drink something hot in the evening. Other than that, Chicory have anti inflamatory benefit to your body and it is good for your digestive system. As a coffee lover, this not replace the coffee at all, but I really enjoy to drink this chicory root.

I use this to make coffee and I have to grind it to powder to work in my drip coffee pot. Good product but will not order again as I want powdered form of chicory

Provides that extra boldness and good flavor to decaf coffee (usually kind of bland). I mix it half n half: one scoop of coffee to one scoop of chicory.. I like a bold brew. I make decaf with it my espresso maker... works well and tastes great with that crema espresso is noted for.

I gave it a5 stars for the seller because the shipping was very fast, professional, the product came so nicely wrapped however the product itself was my issue. I know we all have different taste, I just couldn't make my self drink this coffee. I'm sure if you add sugar and creamer can turn quiet nice however I don't use neither sugar nor creamer in mine. Give it a try, won't hurt you.

Bought second time

I spent the weekend with friends and drank chicory the whole time I was there. I really enjoyed the coffee flavor and overall taste. So, I decided to order some when I got home. Unfortunately, I should have just ordered the same brand that they had. I have tried 5 different cups of this using both a coffee pot and a French press, with differing amounts of the chicory. It just doesn't taste good. It has a funky smell and after taste. Nothing I've tried has improved it. So, I'm giving up on this brand at this point.
