Nice left-handed scissors!
I have struggled with having nice scissors my whole life as I am left handed. In grade-school I had teachers who did not believe there was a difference (there is) and no such thing existed...then they graded me poorly in my cutting skills as I ravaged construction paper with right-handed scissors. I can find lefties now, the problem is we have to pay for the privilege for Fiskars or specialty like pinking shears. These are great! They work fine in my hobby pouch and are very sharp new with no need to sharpen. These are the real thing, left-hand scissors, and at a reasonable price too. If I need a pair for light to medium duty I will definitely buy these again. (They are molded grips for lefties by the way.)

It’s Our Time!
I haven’t had left handed scissors since the 1st grade. And those were also pointy, but child safety wasn’t a concern in ‘80’s. But I digress. Lefties have taken one more step in overthrowing the patriarchy by making quality left handed scissors. I’ve had the scissors a few weeks and I don’t need them for much. When I do use them it feels so natural. Sometimes I have to remember not to put them on the right and then not to hold the scissors up side down. Life long habits are hard to break. These scissors cut what you need blades are sharp and on the correct side! Grip is comfortable. Suffer no longer. There no such thing as ambidextrous anything. Set your your self free. Watch your friends and family suffer for awhile with your fabulous new scissors.

Lefty's rule
Finally bought a pair of left-handed scissors. These are good scissors, they're sharp and they work well and I know they're mine because they're left-handed.

Over the top Ergonomics (in a bad way)
After 40+ years living in a right-handed world, I decided it was time to try out some actual left-handed scissors. These looked like a decent value and actually have the blade orientation correct for left-handed use as opposed to some of the scissors advertised as left-handed that still have a right-handed blade orientation. If you are a lefty, you've probably already figured this out since we are all brilliant thinkers, but the blade orientation is super-important. If you use a right-handed scissors with your left hand, the natural hand pressure of the thumb on top pushing slightly out tends to push the blades APART causing them to not cut well. A true left-handed scissors have the blades reversed so your left hand naturally presses the blades TOGETHER for improved cutting. These scissors are built properly and cut very well! PROS: * Sharp * True left-handed blade orientation * Cut well * Appears to be well made CONS: * Super contoured handle is only comfortable use left-handed with one hand position I'll elaborate on that con. Having the finger holes angled and contoured makes the scissors nearly impossible to use with your alternate hand. There are sometimes where I would want to use them in my right hand, but that is nearly impossible with these. You also need to get your hand fully seated in the scissors for them to fit your hand. For a quick pick up and snip, this is kind of a pain. If you are doing a big cut and keeping them in your hand for a long time, this is probably fine and would be comfortable for the long haul. I've unfortunately discovered, that isn't how I most typically use scissors. I think I would prefer just a standard non-contoured handle but with the blades arranged for a left-hander. These are unfortunately proving difficult to find for a reasonable price.

Nice, durable, great gift!
These tickled left handed father in law to death. He got so excited for them. Left handed Mother in law wasn't as excited over them because she is used to right handed ones. If you have a lefty family member who didn't know these existed and loves to try new things it is a great gift. If you're a lefty wanting to try them my father in law was so excited and was able to cut really easily with them so I'd say based off the joy of seeing him try them out that they are awesome!

Nice quality left handed scissors.
These are great for left handed cutting, either by those naturally left handed, or for right handed individuals attempting to cut something with their left hand for whatever reason. My reason is a periodic Covid hair trim around my ear on the left side in between real haircut attempts. If I can get the scissors properly aligned in my left hand while looking in two mirrors, these scissors will cut. They will also cut if they are not aligned correctly....

Affordable Left-Handed Scissors
I own very nice left-handed dressmakers' shears. They were expensive, and worth every penny because I sew. But it is almost impossible to find left-handed scissors for everyday tasks. There just aren't many affordable left-handed scissors available. I found these and bought multiple pairs for different rooms in my house. They work great for general office tasks. An added bonus is that they are actually marked "left-handed" on the scissors themselves, so it is easy to know In picking up the correct pair for me, as opposed to the ones used by the rest of the family. An excellent purchase!

Maped - Expert Left-Handed 8.25 Inch Scissors - Multipurpose - Left Handed
The thumb slot of the scissors is too small for my thumb, making it uncomfortable using it, otherwise it is fine to use.

Comfortable and good quality
These are such good scissors for left handers! They are comfortable to hold and the blades are properly reversed. I have bought several pairs over the years for myself and other lefty people in my life, and we all love them. Too bad they’ve gone up so much in price, but I’ll pay a little more for the quality and comfort of these scissors.

Smooth cut for left handers
Not an especially large handle, but a lovely, sharp cutting edge. If you had large hands, and/or plump fingers, it might not suit. I purchased for a child, so no problem here.
