I really enjoyed this!
This was my first time trying tteokbokki. The taste was good. I love Gochujang. The could’ve kicked the flavor up a notch so I took a star off. Very chewy. Like mochi pasta. I’ll definitely order it again. I love that it was gluten free because I’ve celiac disease. If it was less expensive I’d order it more.

Well, I’m disappointed. Portion sizes are okay, not terrible for the pricing but it def could be a lil cheaper and it would help get that 4th star. Texture is actually pretty good tho, it’s fun to eat since it’s pretty chewy without really being gummy imo. My main gripe is that it’s wayyy too damn sweet. I’m aware A LOT of Korean food has a high amount of sugar but it’s almost like eating candy. The actual flavor is good but the sweetness almost overpowers it. I’d suggest looking at other brands if you know you don’t like sweetened or oversweented food. Will look for another brand next time.

Love these. So delicious. Easy to cook, excellent texture, taste and smells yummy. I do wish if was cheaper. But I do plan to buy more.

Avoid if Celiac or Gluten Intolerant
I order this because I have celiac and will get incredibly, irreversibly ill if I get gluten-ed. This has been the only GF Tteokbokki I could find. Arrived with no markings indicating its gluten-free, as it historically has, and I'm not going to chance it. Another reviewer with a similar issue reported getting ill from this. Super bummed! It's either counterfeit, which is scary, or they changed the formulation and not the marketing.
