Connects wedding DJ output to wireless transmitter for video shooting
I found out the hard way that "regular" XLR cables sound terrible as output from a DJs sound board. When I used an XLR cable (that I guess wasn't balanced, since it wasn't advertised as such) the recorded audio track on my video was so hissy it was unusable. The client/bride never realized I messed up. I used my backup audio - recorded on my iphone, placed near the speaker - and synced it to the video. Whew. :) I returned that cable and bought this balanced one. It looks like good quality. I'll update this review after I shoot video at the next wedding.

Works fine, but the fit could be better
I bought this as a replacement for my microphone cable. Even though it’s the same size and model as my old one, the fit is a little loose—it doesn’t clamp as tightly, and it can fall out if the cord gets tugged. That said, the sound quality is solid with no drop in performance or noise issues. The build quality feels decent and durable for the price. It functions as advertised and is great if you need a quick, affordable replacement, but if you want something more heavy-duty, you might want to spend a bit more.

Nice Cable at an Affordable Price
The cable is well made and works perfectly. My need was connecting a mic to a recorder and this did the trick perfectly. Sounds great!
