Women's Wedding Cape Bridal Cloak with Hood White Poncho Floor Length

I am 5'10" and this dragged the floor. Now, the picture does show the cape on the floor so I guess they meant that to be the style instead of being an arty photo, as I had imagined, so I am not taking a star off for that.The fabric is a stretch velour and the lining is satin. They are better than I had hoped for but not as good as they could have been even at this price. My seamstress said it was a good thing I was having it hemmed (we took it up about 6") because the way it dragged the floor, if it got caught on anything or stepped on it would rip easily.No, the markdown was not because I bought a budget cape at a budget price. It's okay especially if you look at the halloween stores and see what crap you get for twice the price. This is better quality than that.No, the 4 star rating has more to do with the ridiculously thick tie at the neck. It's made from the same fabric as the outer part, which yields a tie that feels like it would be more appropriate on a bathrobe. I cut it off and replaced it with a different kind of closure and it wound up working very well for my cosplay.I will say that it is pretty warm - we were out at night in fog at about 45 degrees (fahrenheit). You could see your breath. I had on a tank top and leggings with a very thin dress over them and this cape over that and was comfortable.Would buy again in other colors but would also be very careful not to have to wash it, because it doesn't seem like it would hold up too well to laundering.

Runs really big and long so I would definitely size down. I'm 5'11 and I went by the size chart in the description but that's a little off.... I don't have any pictures because I never had to use it.. Turns out if you just get a little tipsy - NOT DRUNK JUST TIPSY- before your wedding you won't feel anything lol.... Now it was an early November wedding so the temp was about 45° (bearable for most but normally I still would have been freezing therefore insert alcohol😉).... It's not as elegant looking as the one with the fur trim, that I got for my daughter (flower girl), but it's still cute... Also if you get this I would cut the front ties a little or all the way and add a pretty clamp because the ties are extremely long.... That's what I did... FYI got the camp off of amazon ass well... Overall it's really nice and not super thin like others... You would have some protection from the elements with this....

I was very surprised by the quality of this cape, given the cost. Don't get me wrong, if you're looking for thick, lush velvet, backed by soft satin, you're looking in the wrong place. However, if your looking for a well-made, pretty cloak for cosplay, a Halloween costume, or other dress-up times that I don't want to think about, this is a great option. I used it for a community theatre play in which I was an evil white queen. Worked perfectly.But be warned, it is suuuuuuppppppper (super) long. I am about 5'6" and had to hem around 2' off the bottom. But the size itself, is quite accurate, especially since it is shipped from China.Also, I paid for expedited shipping and received it within a few days. Major props for that.

For the price, I thought this cape was great! I wore it on my wedding day. I was worried about purchasing it, but to my surprise, the color was a perfect match to my dress. My mom altered the cape a tiny bit; she cut off the neck ties (which were very thick. I thought they made it look like a bath robe!) and added a nice clasp. The cape flowed exactly how I wanted it to. It held up well through the reception, eating, and dancing! I felt like a princess!I'm on the fence between four and five stars. I was originally going to put four stars, because without my mom's alterations, I would have been unhappy with it. I decided to go with five stars because the quality of the cape was worth the price, and worth taking the time to alter it.

Delivery was great and product was exactly what I wanted but when received look like it had mold spots are boot marks. Washing it to see if it comes out.

It is a lot bigger then I had expected. The inside is a nice silk while the outside is nice and soft. I am 5.4" and weigh over 200 pounds and it wraps around me comfortable and even with heels it leaves a train on the ground. I got the 4xl because most tend to run small and it can be hard to tell online but I could of got a 3xl and be just as happy. if you don't want the train then I suggest getting a 2xl, if you are the same height and weight as me.

I bought this for a Halloween costume. It can only be for a costume as it is made poorly, the lining doesn't sync well with the outer material and we had to make alterations. Overall, great for a WHITE WITCH theme!

Arrived on time. It was just what I was looking for. I followed another reviewers idea and wore the soft side inside! Kept me nice and warm for my outdoor wedding (it was 32degrees!). That being said it is on the thin side, but for the process it can't be beat.
