Worth the weight (for backpackers)!! Not once did this let me down, and it came in handy when wifi was unavailable or dodgy! Can't say enough good things about this gem!

The guide is clearly worried about the doubts and necessities of backpackers, because it gives a thorough view of all the places that could (and should) be visited in Asia. Its only drawback is the lack of pictures of (at least) the main attractions and places, something that does not jeopardize your planning, but could certainly be improved in future editions.

For all of my travels I purchase the Lonely Planet guide book and it has never led me astray. These books are top notch. They are jam-packed with valuable information and written in such a straightforward way, it makes planning your trip and researching your destination a breeze. Lonely Planet books are a MUST for all your travels!

This book is a good starting point for travellers. It doesnt cover all the detail from each country, but it is beneficial to have it
