Why is there black dots on the pills?

Not sure about black dots, but mine has dark purple, some yellow colors. You may want to reach out to the seller or Amazon. Hopefully it's just colorations.

Is this a coated tablet that won't stick to my tongue?

The packaging does not say that this tablet is coated. However, it does appear to have a slick coating. I've not had one stick to my tongue and they go down easily.
