Boley Dinosaur Toys for Kids for Boys Girls Age 3-5 & 5-7, 9-Inch Educational Realistic Dinosaur Figures for Kids and Toddler T-Rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor - 12 Pack

My 22 month old son recently has shown an interest in dinos and playing with toys like these. I wanted to give these to him for one of his birthday presents. I did a lot of research before buying. I started looking at Schleich brand because they have really nice quality figures, but they are a little bit expensive. I wanted my son to be able to get a nice set, with figures that weren’t too small, and of course for a decent price. These were recommended by a few websites so I decided to give them a try! PROS: Very nice size, not too big, and not a choking hazard for a toddler. They have different textures and colors unique to each dinosaur, none of them look identical. They are a hard hollowed out plastic type material, and you can squeeze them slightly. They feel durable and well made. Great price for how many you get. CONS(?) If you’re going for a more squishy material, these probably aren’t for you They lack details that maybe a more expensive set might have. Overall definitely recommend these for a toddler or an older child who loves dinos! They are cute, colorful, and seem durable. I noticed some reviews complained they smell bad, but mine don’t have a smell at all.

I just got these so can't speak on durability but these seem like very good quality dinosaurs. They are thick, they have good details, and my 5 year old son is happy.

I believe plastic dinosaurs are important -- dinosaurs expand the imagination -- and wanted to donate some to a local Santa agency as "stocking stuffers" to go with food boxes so bought two sets. Turns out plastic dinosaurs are expensive and hard-to-find in my town but fortunately are not yet extinct on Amazon. Theaw are good-sized, large enough to offer a good visual. The sauropods are not in scale I assume because they wouldn't have fit in the box. Both sets stood up fine. The box these come in is not going to work as a place to keep them after play -- a dedicated, decorated tote would make a better stable but as mine are going out individually, I was able to pour them into a paper bag after ensuring they would all stand, as nobody wants a dead dinosaur as a present. The book is sturdy and written for an advanced reader, an adult. I didn't fact-check it but it helps the reader identify which dinosaur is which to a four-year-old. These toys have heft, they feel durable and should last until the kid grows out of dinosaurs (which could take a while. I'm 68.)

I ordered these for the grandkids and got them today. I am really pleased with the quality and value for the money. Each dinosaur is a great size for little hands, painted well, and with different textures to make them easier to grip. They are made of flexible plastic, so while they are sturdy, they won't do a ton of damage if a little one decides T-rex should be able to fly! The included book that describes the dinosaurs and shows their size relative to people and cars will be great for the older kids that are interested in those kinds of facts. Well done Boley.

Let me first say that these are great for my 3 year old and she LOVES all of her Boley animals. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is only because some of the reviews RAVE about the quality, how much nicer these are than "cheap" animals, etc. but they are exactly the same. My daughter played with some her cousin had and loved them and my SIL informed me they were all from the dollar store. So I came to Amazon in search for some of her own, found these and ordered. Turns out they are the exact same animals my nephew has. There is nothing wrong with that at all, and I still feel they are a good value for the price and what they are. But just be aware they are dollar store plastic animals and you won't be disapponted thinking you're getting something of higher quality. Nevertheless, we are happy and DD plays with these for 20-30+ minutes at a time regularly. One final note- these are a little different from the other Boley pieces. The plastic is softer or more pliable if that makes sense, whereas the farm and safari animals seem to be a stiffer plastic. Just FYI.

Wow, these are great. The detail and quality is perfect on these dinosaurs. The paint and the textures both are very realistic and good quality. I didn't notice any chemical or rubber plastic smell and I could see some seams in some dinosaurs but I had to be looking for them because they blend in so perfectly its not really noticeable. The size is great and they are very durable. They are somewhat soft but still hard at the same time. The names on the bottom are perfect to identify the dinosaurs but a little difficult to read. When playing with them you can't see the names and if it was black writing or something I guess they would stand out and look awkward so I understand and appreciate why the names are somewhat hard to read. These are some of the nest dinosaurs I have seen for the quality, quantity, and price definitively I would recommend them.

Great quality, durable for children and will not break by their hands... (not durable enough for labradors though--found a decapitated dino the other day *facepalm*, haha). I bought these as a double duty, my niece was having a dino themed birthday party and I made her dino foot print sugar cookies and then we gave dino toys to her friends as party favors. I bought two packs for variety, the 9 inch were more life like and realistic, perfect for the dino footprint cookies. The other pack I bought off Amazon was a pack of 7 inch dinos and those were less life like and more toy-like if that makes sense (brighter colors, less detail). The combination of the two packs was perfect for our "Adopt A Dino" basket from which kids could choose their own dino to take home as a favor. To be fair this pack far surpassed the quality of the 7 inch pack. If you're looking for life-like, high quality and educational this one is for you. Also, for those looking to use this as a learning toy it did come with a book describing each dino! As a reader I loved that a book was included and the degree of learning that could be had with the book was awesome! This is definitely a toy that kids can grow with. Total hit! Very happy with this purchase.

I ordered these for my 3 year old son. I needed dinosaurs that weren't so small my baby could eat them but small enough that they could fit in his dinosaur bin. These fit the bill perfectly. He was thrilled with their size (exclaimed, they're BIG dinosaurs, Mommy!) and his face lit up like the sky on the fourth of July. They have provided hours of entertainment already. I like that they are hollow and somewhat squishy so that when he throws them at his brother (just being realistic), the injury will be minor. There is a tiny hole on the side for air release wen they are squished, so that's something to consider if you're getting them for use in the bathtub. They didn't take up much water, though (the hole is about the size of a pin head) and some of them didn't get any water inside. They came individually wrapped and when I first opened them, there was a very faint smell that dissipated in less than a minute. No problem at all, and I am usually very sensitive to smells. I looked at so many dinosaur sets and I'm so glad I chose this one.
