My dining table chairs were showing age - the seams ripped, the rexin ripped and whiteness was showing all over. I wanted to replace the chairs but did not like anything that would fit with my house decor. We were having some formal guests over and was very embarrassed to make them sit on these old-looking ripped chairs. After reading reviews on Amazon, I decided to take a chance and ordered this. The tape arrived quickly and it took me about 30 minutes to cut the tape and fix all the chairs. The chairs looked totally passable now and I can wait many more months before I replace them (if I have to). See BEFORE and AFTER pictures of one of my chairs. If I had ordered 2 or 3 sets, I would have covered entire seating area with one big piece instead of doing patch work like this but did not want to take a chance and spend on 3 orders. Very happy with the purchase - the glue is very strong; easy to cut and apply and it sticks very hard. Been about 3 weeks since I fixed my chairs and the tape is not showing any signs of coming off.

Thick and color doesn’t wear off, however thickness makes application more difficult.

Please get this!!! I ordered the largest size in dark brown No 5. The patch even mimicked the texture of the leather couch. No one can tell the difference. My 3yr old son pealed the leather off of the couch like a tomato. I was just about to throw out this very comfortable still functional couch. I decided to try this $25 solution before I threw out this $1000 couch. So worth it. I wiped the spot and surrounding area with alcohol and allowed it to dry. The adhesion is super strong so make sure you measure precisely before you place. My technique was similar to smoothing wall paper. I cut the pieces long from one edge to another instead of creating a perfect size patch (look at the pictures). I believe this is what created the flawless finish. Before purchasing I looked in the questions section and someone took a video of all the samples. I was able to screen shot the color swatches and compare it to my couch. Very helpful. I used the entire roll to fix my couch. The thickness and feel is very similar to real leather and once adhered you really can’t tell the difference. The patches are visible in the photos but they truly aren’t in person. Hope my review and pics helped. I purchased another roll just incase.

The tongue on my boots peeling and looked terrible. I was able to cut a new tongue for each boot and sew them on. Not a perfect match but good enough. Saved me the cost of a new pair of boots.

The leather repair tape is good but some parts won't stick. But it was ok.

I’m not sure how but my lovely leather club chair got a couple tears in the back where your backrest not big but I would like to have something to cover it. I like that this company had several different colors and I picked the one that I thought might be the closest to my chair and it wasn’t too far off. So far it has stuck well. It’s doing a great job and for the price. It was a good deal. If any other rips or tears happen, maybe from animals jumping on the furniture I will return to this company and get another one of these patches. Thank you.

My two cats have used my chair as a scratching post and have damaged the surface beyond repair…or so I thought! I bought dark brown but I think black brown would have been better. I used paper as a template and it was easy to size. It’s not perfect but it looks better than it was. I’m going to wait and see how long before my husband takes notice of the repair. I’ll update on how well the adhesion holds up.

We had considerable wear on one leather couch arm. It was part of a set of 3 including ottoman. Approximately 8 inch by 3 inch tear resulted. We bought the larger 60 inch kit and covered the entire couch arm from inside to around the couch arm instead of using a visual smaller patch. Looks great! See for yourself. Beats having a gaping hole in your chair!

Fast delivery! Ordered yesterday (May 31, 2023) and was delivered the next day! I chose the dark brown no. 5, should’ve gotten the black, but it is still a good buy. Effortles to cut and apply on my sofa. Material is not thin. Easy fix and affordable rather than buying a new sofa. Will update how it last.
