Reliable and excellent
9 months so far with with it, this is an awsome break maker. Easy to use, timer settings, and recipes included. We use it 5-6 time every week, standing solid so far.

Expensive but worth the investment
No joking, but we use this machine almost every three days to bake fresh loaves of bread.

Broke after only 6 uses.
It broke after only the 6th loaf! I have to now arrange for an in warranty repair. And as it is not sold in the UAE via Panasonic I have to have it repaired in the U.K. I expected a lot more from a Panasonic brand. My issue is the kneading mechanism stopped turning. And then after turning off the device and restarting it doesn’t stop turning. Panasonic support in the U.K. could only recommend that I take it back to an authorised repair shop in the U.K.

Great Product, Works perfectly! Makes Great Bread!
Wonderful, like all four or five of my previous Panasonic Bread Machines. Why so Many? They last about five years, and I've been using them for 20 or so. That is four or five years of heavy use on the motor, like using it nearly every other day for four or five years. Most cheap bread bakers I've bothered with (before Amazon was in Ireland) last about two to three years before the motor burns out. My Panasonics go about four years or more, then get cranky, so I replace them. They have lots of different settings, most of which you may not use but are nice to have. They don't have settings that some cheaper ones have- settings that don't work well because, well, this is a bread baker, not a pasta machine or jam cooker. But if you want a good workhorse of a bread machine, this is your machine! Even if, like me, you almost never bake bread in it, you just use it to knead perfect bread dough nearly every time. Nearly, because no bread baker can control the humidity in the Irish climate. But take it from someone who's baked bread since 1978: if you need a bread machine, these are the way to go. Personally, no one in my household cares much for the way bread cooked in a bread baker tastes, so I use the oven and shape my loaves. But experiments have shown that Panasonic does a better job of getting an oven-like loaf in a pinch (like when the oven is broken or you're living in your RV) than other brands I've tried. It does, however, save your shoulder; if, like me, you have a wrecked shoulder from years of weaving or other jobs, or you just want to avoid hand kneading for other reasons. My friends in the USA tell me there are other manufacturers on the extremely expensive end who do as well, but over here in Europe, in my experience, this is the best you can get (or at least the one you're likely to be able to afford and find easily). Have fun and enjoy making Great Bead! In the Machine or the Oven after kneading in The MACHINE.

PANASONIC YR2550
Bonjour. Merci.

After weeks of researching breadmakers I decided on this one and I have no regrets
After weeks of trawling through details of many different bread makers I decided on this particular brand and model because it does it all. It had the best reviews over all and seemed the best value although it's not the cheapest to buy. I've been making bread for a while by using a dough mixer and air fryer but decided I wanted a breadmaker that does it all without me having to knead the dough ( I have arthritis in my wrists so kneading dough can be uncomfortable sometimes. During my research of breadmakers I read hundreds of reviews across the different ones on the market as well as user information, instructions and user ability thereby gradually reducing the list of suitable options down to the best 2 ( both ended up being Panasonic models ). Then I compared those two taking everything into account like cost, function and efficiency. This Panasonic yr2540 came up as the best all round breadmaker for my needs. It's not the cheapest by far but considering it's a quality brand, quality build materials and has the best reviews from other users it has many functions others don't have and it does it all without me having to intervene. I just put the ingredients in and it does the rest. I have to say I am totally happy with the results. The bread comes out fluffy and tasty with a lovely crust just like my mother used to make when I was a small child. It's truly worth the money. I have no regrets buying it. There's a recipe leaflet included in the box as well as on their website, it's easy to set up and operate ( if I can do it anyone can ) the bread making takes a few hours from start to finish because it does it all for you including the rising of the dough and the resting phase. You just carry on with your day while the breadmaker does it's thing then it beeps when it's all done. It's easy to clean , hardly any noise, it's basically working away in the background without drawing attention to itself. All the hours and days I spent researching paid off in the end because I am totally satisfied that I chose the right breadmaker and I can't fault it It is quite big so check measurements
