This stand is awesome and is the perfect height, easy to assemble, and sturdy. Holds my Edifer speakers nicely and I did not fill this with sand, works great without extra weighting. The flat panels have drilled holes for the screws but you need to feel for them under a thin membrane covering them then just push your forget against it to mark the hole. The accessory bag comes with many things including cable management but all I used was the 16 screws. A child can build this in 5 mins and the price is super value.

The description at Amazon stated that dry sands may be used to increase load. That is not what the installation document wrote. The instructions specified that dry sands MUST be added. I can see why because the wood structure is light and can easily be toppled with heavy speakers.

Not bad looking. Not very sturdy. The holes for the wood base are too big for the screws. Should have had metal parts in it to solidify the support at the base. I had to buy metal parts to solidify the base.

it came disassembled and there aren't even drill holes or guideline on where to drill, you must do it all manually, very inconvenient for the average consumer. NOT recommended if you aren't the handy type with the necessary skillset and tools.
