Absolutely fabulous, the real thing!!!
I haven't really had miso since I lived in Japan more than 20 years ago, but I suddenly had a hankering, perhaps because I had to take antibiotics twice in one month. This is fantastic miso, packed with probiotics and authentic delicious taste. I'm having miso soup every day now and loving it. I have tried other company's miso but none other had me inspired like this. It is expensive cause it goes fast but what would be the point of getting something cheaper and losing the taste and quality and authenticity. Making good miso is an art and this company has done a fantastic job!!!

Organic, light texture,and extremely umami tasty!
What’s important to me is this is Organic and made in India with the Japanese recipe. This is a very light textured miso with a wonderful umami accent.

This batch disappointed .. ... too mushy a paste ..!
Most recent batch disappointed ... the chickpea miso is too soft a paste ... no consistency at all ... I've used this brand for some years but not likely to order again going forward ! Besides, this mushy miso was packed in a cheap, not-food-grade-plastic container. Not acceptable.

Too Salty for hypertension people
Flavor good but too too salty. Non-hypertensive folks may buy and enjoy. But high blood pressure people, AVOID. There are better ways to enjoy umami flavor!
