Q: Will this be ok for a portable a.c.?

No! You would need insulated duct. Besides that, this duct came with hundreds of small holes. They had to return my money.

Q: Can I use this in my kitchen exhaust Hood vent?

If its 6” in diameter, or if u can fit in an adaptation connector

Q: Can I use this on a clothes dryer

I would think so, just remember to clean it out 2x a year, it will have build-up of lint.
