Portable Space Heater with Humidifier, 1500-Watt

We've been using these (2 of them) for a couple months. The electric bill was not as high as last year using separate space heaters. There's one at one end of the manufactured home and the other at opposite end separated by about 60 feet. I use 3 ceiling fans running on low speed to draw air up and ithroughout the house. That seems to work pretty well. Hadn't tried them without the ceiling fans. They're quiet. We're in extreme N. Arizona and Winter hasn't been very "usual" yet. It usually gets down to single or very low double digits.. more Winter to come so we'll see. Minus is that if you have a power failure: you'll have to power up and reset the temp etc again. Don't come back on nor return to original settings. Easy to clean the filters. Good product to date.

This heater was a little smaller than I had expected but it works great. Within about a half hour, my home office, which is in the basement of our home is nice and toasty. It is below zero here now and no problem. My office has warmed up from being 14 C to 18 C in that half hour (It normally warms up faster if I have the door closed). I've very happy with the product and doing the math for these along with using our propane fireplace is going to save us quite a bit over the winter. I can't comment on their durability but I've been using mine for around 2 weeks or so now and very happy. The remote is okay. Instructions don't really explain things well but will very little playing around with it, I have everything figured out.

I've had these space heaters for almost 9 years and they've worked great, but recently one of them stopped working entirely and the other started smelling like melted plastic, so I opened them up to see what was going on. Both had the same wiring issue that I'm glad didn't start fires! I recommend replacing this plastic piece with a better coupling that is intended for joining stranded wires in high-power and high-temp environments.
