Needs Good Heat
I do a lot of electrical soldering, when "modifying" or upgrading components, especially on Bass guitars, Lap Steel guitars, etc. I thought I would give this 63/37 solder a try... based on a lot of good reviews for it. I find that it has excellent adhesion, no cracking and great conductivity, which is what really matters to me.I find that it does take a bit more heat to flow well, compared to 60/40, but that's not a problem, as I use a "soldering" station that is highly adjustable from 20W, up to 110W's.... usually with this 63/37 solder, I find that 85 to 90W's is hot enough for fast melting and no damage to other existing components due to "lingering" with the heat for too long.I highly recommend giving this 63/37 flux core solder, by MAIYUM a try. Good value for the money, for sure.
