Laptop says 'battery error' when inserted and reminds at 0%. Reinserting my old "Genuine' battery seems to be my immediate option while I return this. Thing is, original battery is years old and doesn't hold charge for long.

No issues found, was accepted by my Thinkpad BIOS.Like my original battery, has proper proportion on (78+) red sticker (but fake batteries stickers are differ), and fit battery slot very easy (fake batteries are not).

You need this, a certified Lenovo product, to replace your laptop battery. I tried to buy knockoff batteries from 2 other sellers on Amazon. Neither battery actually fit my laptop. The battery sold by this seller fits perfectly and charges. This product works.

Gone are the days of dependable workstations when IBM made them. I spent $1,500 on my Lenovo P71 workstation. Right as the warranty expired, the system now says, "No battery present" while charging. The machine constantly reboots during my coding. Very frustrating. I'm scared to update my BIOS now because if the machine dies while updating the BIOS, it corrupts the motherboard and then your workstation is just an expensive paper weight. Beware of Lenovo!
