CretacolorArtist Lead Sanguine Dry 6/Pack

I love these. Perfect for drawing on newsprint as well as on sketch paper. I use them without a holder. They are thin so I had to adjust my pressure not to break them, but has made me more conscious of my marks. Delivery was fast. A few were broken, but it doesn't matter if you place in a holder or hold by hand.

These are great sanguine chalks for those of us who like to use the giant clutch pencils, but you need to assume some serious loss when ordering these things online. Count yourself blessed if a single stick arrives intact, and lucky if you end up with pieces that are at least large enough to load into the pencil. You'll get plenty of chunks too small to use for much.

All the leads were broken when they arrived. Fortunately I can put most of the pieces in a holder and still use them.

Been looking for dry sanguine for the larger lead holder for a long time. Very pleased.

Unacceptable. Delivery came in small pieces. Too small to use in the standard holder. Sorry I didn't read the reviews before wasting my money. Stupidly, I relied solely on Cretacolor's reputation for quality products.

So, the oil-free is quite nice, making it like a decent replacement for Conte - the tone is around 2450. Unfortunately, being bunged into a package with no padding to protect from the enthusiasm of the delivery folk who seem hell bent on breaking and bending everything they touch, all of the sticks came broken.

Hat eher kreidige Konsistenz, muss also fixiert werden, was bei der eher öligen Variante nicht immer nötig ist. Für Wischtechnik ok.
