Lenux Professional Camera LCD/LED Hood

I had seen a professional photographer use one like this years ago and really liked the concept. I did not really have a 'need' for one until we were planning a 2 week vacation and decided not to take a laptop along to download pictures to and just could not pull the trigger on one of those portable storage devices.So we bought spare memory cards and I used this 'Hood' every night to go through my days pictures and thin out the masses.It is easy to overdose on the amount of pictures you can take with these new digital cameras. My wife has a full size Canon DSLR and I have a Sony Cyber-shot 'pocket' camera (that is incredible in its own right). So...we both point and shoot, over and over. LOLI set this 'hood' on the display screen and click away at reviewing the pics taken...which is better, 1 or 2? I am sure I deleted at least a quarter of the pictures taken that were pretty much the same. If I was unsure, I left it for further review here at home.This thing is brilliant!

Had problems using the TG-5 in bright sunlight because it has no viewfinder. This item solved the problem. Bought another hood before this one and it did not work well on my camera. This hood fits and appears to be of good quality materials. If you have a small camera that has no viewfinder this hood in a no brainer. It should work on most screen sizes approximately 3in. X 2in. The hood does not attach to the camera and must be held in place. This has not been a problem for me as I use the camera underwater. Obviously the hood won’t work underwater. Also, the hood folds up making it convenient to carry. Finally, something cheap that really works. Thanks Amazon; arrived the next day with prime.

I'm so glad I found this little gadget! I got a new Canon SX530 for Christmas and I love everything about it EXCEPT that it doesn't have a viewfinder. I was so frustrated trying to use the LCD as a viewfinder because my hand was never steady enough for really good pictures and if the sun was behind me, it was really difficult to see the screen. This hood works beautifully! And with the cord, you can actually attach it to your camera temporarily. I didn't want to have to glue one to my camera. I seriously considered selling my camera before I found this. Thank you!!!

This is the best accessory I have purchased for my photography. Now I can see the LCD on the back of the camera even in bright daylight and the magnification is an added bonus to my old eyes. This unit pushes down into itself for a better fit in the camera bag and the material is pliable enough that it hasn't cracked and I doubt that it will. If I am out shooting for the day i just hang it around my neck and leave it there. Should I loose this one I will be ordering another the next day.

I have a hard time seeing the LED screen, especially when it's sunny outside or when I don't have my glasses handy. I use this hood to view the composition, lighting and histogram. I like that it's mad out of silicon type vehicle and collapses within itself for easy storage. I've had at least two photographer friends buy this based on my experiences. Its very competitively priced compared with similar products.

I love this and carry it with me all the time. I use it with my cell phone when I take pics on a very sunny day. You can see the screen better because it blocks the sun from the screen. It magnifies so you can see your subject better.

The media could not be loaded.  Great camera hood. Love the 5x magnification and the way the hood collapses down to fit nicely in my camera bag. I had never used a hood, and after using the Lenux hood I realized I should have purchased one a long time ago! SUPER helpful when out on bright sunny days!!
