This book is a phenomenal and deeply moving photographic record of displaced people. It's both challenging and fascinating, and filled with a compassion and rage at the injustice that so many of fellow human beings suffer. Salgado is an incredible photographer and each photo here stands on its own merit as a work of art, but here it's the effect of the whole - the people, the stories, the lives upended - or lost - that really hits home.

Excellent work of Sebastian Salgado. Through his wonderful photographs, it shows us how far we can get as human beings and our responsibility for our actions. The book is of excellent quality. The photographs are a testament to one of the best photographers of the twentieth century. No doubt this book can not miss in the library of every documentary photographer.- P.D.
