I love this. I bought it for my shoulder and I fold it in half so that half covers the front of my shoulder and the other half goes over my back. I use it under the Mueller Shoulder strap for a good fit. The coldness stays for about 30 minutes.

This is our second one of these, we loved it so much we would fight over it, so now we have a His/Hers. This pad is very thin and is easily applied by the person on their own back. Stay cold, works great not heavy or bulky, works great!

These are a high quality well constructed ice pack, but my reason for 2 stars and ultimately returned was due to them being very thin. Due to being so thin they are not very moldable and when applying to my knees they would gap and not mold to the shape due to lack of material inside. A 2 pack of these has a shipping weight of 6 pounds vs the other packs I ordered have a shipping weight of 17 pounds.When doing physical therapy on my knees they used a much thicker more pliable pack called Body Ice and I ended up ordering those.

Perfect size for lower back coverage. It’s thin,flexible and fits into freezer easily due to its trifold shape and freezes quickly. Stays cold just the right amount of time so you aren’t exceeding the recommended cold therapy application time if you fall asleep. Haven’t tried to heat it so I can’t report on that. My only wish would be if it came with a fabric slipcover, then it would be perfect.

Disappointing to say the least. The gel is not evenly distributed, it does not stay cold for long at all. Fifteen minutes was all I got after leaving it in the freezer for two days. I am completely mystified by all the good reviews, which were the reason I bought it. I regret my purchase. If I hadn't thrown the original box away I would try to return it to Amazon.

This has been great while I've been dealing with sciatic pain. It's thin enough to sit on, but only stays cold about 20 minutes, which is the right amount of time. It freezes up quickly, also because it's thin. So it has a quick turn around.

This ice pack is amazing! I hurt my back and use it nightly at bedtime. It’s the perfect size to cover my lower back.It stays cold for about 10 mins but stays cool for longer after that.I highly recommend this purchase!
