Excellent but Expensive
This is an excellent product for people doing video with DSLR and using zoom lens. A word of caution is - this will not be useful for short length lens like prime lens.Price should be half of what it is available - unnecessarily expensive.

Bien fait et conçu... sauf pour la bague de lentille !
Bien conçu pour la taille d'une DSLR / Mirorless, il est solide et léger et à plusieurs ajustement possible. Le foyer est précis et le mouvement se contrôle bien. Par contre, la bague dentelée de lentille «universelle» est vraiment problématique : instable, l'attache bloque rapidement alors que la longueur supplémentaire qui dépasse accroche partout dans la cage, les rodes, etc. SAMLLRIG devrait plutôt fournir à l'achat un lot de bagues de lentilles bien ajustées au lieu de nous laisser les commander séparément - un peu comme les quatre différents «stepup ring» inclus avec leur «lightweight mattebox». En attendant qu'ils se montrent généreux, je conseille former d'acheter la/ les bagues du bon diamètre pour vous pour profiter pleinement du follow focus !

Nice, compact follow focus
Attaches easily to any cage, and operates very well. Lots of options for postioning it on the camera. For a compact video rig this can't be beat. So much easier to focus using this rather than using the lens itself. The easily-moveable stops for rack focussing are a nice touch, too. Highly recommended.

make sure you need it
Maybe just make sure you need it. Try and borrow one from somebody to see if you like it first. Apart from that, i did really like it and it helped me solve some problems. Way cheaper than other focus pulls in the market. (btw make sure your camera lenses have the little teeth that go with this product).

Intelligent design
Ability to not just raise but angle the drive cog makes this a fairly universal fit while keeping the housings clear of the camera and lens.

Rod clamp arrived broken
Included rod clamp won't tighten around included rod.I emailed customer support and have not received any response.I usually like smallrig products, and will change my review if they rectify the situation, hoping this will get their attention.
