It cleared all the green hair algae in my little fish pond in a week. I keep using it in about 3 weeks frequency now 👍

Safe for fish & plants
Product was used to control algae in small backyard pond. Weekly application works very well. Easy to use; just pour it in at the waterfall. My pond has a recirculating pump to keep water moving. Not sure it would work as well on still water.

Pea soup
For some reason we had a major algae bloom this year and the water clouded up, muddy green. I tried this product as an experiment- serious pond owners and fish breeders would probably buy elsewhere, but worth a try. I used a 64 oz bottle for 19000 gallons. The algae kill was very thorough, with partial clearing and scum accumulation within 24 hrs. The bottle warns not to use if you have crabs or shrimp etc in your pond. I experienced a major kill of invasive snails, which is fine with me. It also killed most of our 1-1 1/2" mosquito fish, bodies of which ended up in the pump baskets. Small 1/2" mosquito fish were not killed for some reason. The koi are fine, but the sensitive ones were somewhat irritated, a few jumping or flashing for a while. I'm sure oxygen is the issue as the bloom dies off, so keep your water-fall operating and your air supply.
