The clear letter stencils are a great purchase. The plastic is a little thin but, with patience the letters are traceable and gets the job done. Ordered the 2in and 2.5 stencils and can used for several projects.

The stencils are the perfect size. LOVE that they connect!! Easy to connect. Sturdy. It would be absolutely perfect, if you could come up with some kind of line connector, like the old fashioned self creating ink stamps so I could just slide the letters and numbers in. I had to create my own so I could spray paint my address on trash and recycling barrels. Again, the letters and numbers are perfect size and it came out beautiful!

I like the quality and ease of use. I actually used these to trace inside and then plasma cut the letters out of steel to make a sign. They worked great and nice because they were plastic and more rugged than I expected. The down side was only a single of each letter. That made writing a work like "letter" impossible without moving the repeating letter. Best to buy several sets of these to make life easy. Also the spacing of the letters when they touched was a bit too much so I overlapped the plastic to get proper spacing.

These size letters are like a regular size note book keep in mind. It worked out perfectly for me I was fixing me dads at home gym. Definitely recommend!

These stencils are acceptable quality for the price range. Like most similar products in the $15-$50 price range, they share the same limitations due to the fact that they are all pressed out of the same size and shape blank. What I mean by that is that larger letters, like M & W appear as too narrow, and the letter I - particularly in the interlocking stencils - does not allow for any kerning adjustment. Also due to their flimsiness, it is difficult to make assembled words lie completely flat on the surface you're stencilling, with unsatisfactory results when using spray paint. The edges do not appear crisp but rather blurred. I will experiment further using a brush instead of spray. In the attached photo you can see the blurred edges and also the visual effect of no kerning. Because I made a stencil which I intend to use often, I corrected the kerning on the letter I by trimming off the interlocking tabs and assembling it in place using clear tape. You can see the improved look of the stencil below the original attempt. To summarize, I am happy with the purchase & may buy additional packs. I know if I want a more professional result I will need to buy more expenses stencils made from brass or other metal.
