It was perfect for the purpose I needed it for. It works just like I needed it to. Used it as a counter.Well made and works great.

These are great for protecting the Arduino board yet have access to the USB, IO and power pins. The clear case allows user to see the activity LED.

Simple design, easy installation, great device protection, all headers accessible for add-on shields.

Good fit and protection could also install the terminal shield with this installed.

This case works well but there's a few things to be concerned about:1. The case uses plastic snaps to shut which will eventually break off if opened and closed too many times. I wish they had through-holes so you could use screws or something to really securely seal it.2. It only has two posts holding the board down at two points (most others use clips around the edge) so if you lift a shield up you can feel the board move around inside because it isn't secure.I'd say if you intend to put an Arduino inside and never remove it for a more permanent installation, the case is probably pretty good.

First and foremost, let's get this out of the way: It's plastic. The reset button is a compliant mechanism that might wear down eventually, but that's okay.The quality of the surface finish is a smooth matte without severe concentric defects, and the assembly was remarkably easy­—I literally just dropped the Arduino in, put the top on, and it snapped together.It leaves only the ground shroud of the USB exposed, and covers the board well enough to prevent any fingerpoken.

These Unos can get scratched really quick so this case is perfect and also transparent as well.
