Initially, I wasn't sure. It smells unpleasant, BUT The instructions say to wash it under the tap and the smell goes away. It is really quite like real rice in texture If you like a lot of rice, then you're going to need to eat more than half of the pack, but it's still got no carbohydrates so you're laughing In it seems expensive, but it's about the same price as buying Microwave rice and for me that's okay. It really doesn't taste of anything so you just enjoy the riceiness as a Transport medium for whatever you're eating it with.

Brilliant for those on a low-carb, low-cal diet, like me. The secret is to dry-fry the rice in a wok or pan to get rid of most of the moisture. You can then use it like ordinary cooked rice. Don't worry - it doesn't burn when you dry-fry it. As soon as it stops looking wet and the grains start to free up, stop dry-frying. If you like cooking Chinese food like me, but have to watch your blood sugar levels carefully, this product is just superb, and it tastes great.

Great quality, but for me it was not good. It is an artificial food, I think. It is a Keto friendly food.

I've seen a few reviews complaining about smell. Not sure why, I've not noticed it. Just open bag rinse thoroughly, microwave 2 mins and then drain again before dishing up with your fav rice combo. Yum!

I am doing a keto diet so trying lots of different things to keep my diet low carb, I saw these and thought why not give them a go would be nice to have some rice alongside a few of my dishes, knowing a lot of keto products are never quite the same was not expecting an exact replacement by any means just something similar in texture but was definitely expecting better than what turned up. I'm not sure who thought they would make a good rice alternative but whoever it was has obviously never eaten rice before, they feel almost like slime to the touch and the texture in the mouth is horrible, they have a strange odour and the taste wasn't good either. I will never buy these again

Works well as a substitute for the real thing. Texture takes a bit of getting used to at first.

Great when you’re trying to cut the calories. Doesn’t have much taste, so make something tasty to serve it with and you’ve got a great meal with less carbs/calories. Helps to fill you up. Love this and the pasta & noodle versions too.

Excellent alternative to rice. Great for Keto diet.
