GooGoo Clusters Pecan Candy Bar - 12 Count Case

I was nervous about ordering because I saw some negative reviews, but I’m really glad I did. It arrived with an intact seal and a clearly marked expiration date, so I didn’t have to worry about it being old or stale like some reviewers mentioned. I opened and tried one of the 12 pieces, and it was perfect. It completely satisfied my craving!

Best candy bar ever. I'm from Nashville and I was taught that GooGoo stood for Grand Ole Opry. Don't know if that is right or not, but I love it and it reminds me of Nashville

In a world of gym rats and health nuts theres me with a box of GooGoo clusters. One bite into this and you will forget about about that six pack you always dreamed of having and realize being a chocolatey glutton is pretty F’n cool 2 😏

They are good (the 3 stars is for the product only) but Amazon delivery is the problem. Came banged up and melted. I know the melt can’t really be helped but it kinda sucks to eat it in pieces which is not really the point, you want the tastes all together.

Excellent product

I lived in Nashville, TN for 20+ years. I thought I would retire and die there, but fate and a change of careers ruled that out. Standard Candy Co, which makes Goo Goo Clusters, originally made them only with peanuts, and I will admit they were pretty good. When they came out made with pecans and called Goo Goo Supreme, there was joy because they were truly well-named! But they were rare for me with moves to different states where the candy was unobtainable. The ones then: quality milk chocolate, spectacular marshmallow, gooey generous caramel and lovely halves of pecans. Now: renamed Goo Goo Pecan, have 3rd class, gritty chocolate, no marshmallow - no clue what the white stuff in them is, but it sure is not marshmallow - a small amount of caramel - I think - and some bits that could be defined as nut. Ingredients listed do not include pecans, and indeed the nuts are listed as the very last ingredient as peanut. This was for me a very disappointing buy that I will NOT be repeating.

I grew up eating GooGoo clusters, and, as with everything, corporate needs have reduced the bang-for-the-buck in pleasure. They are both smaller, cost more, and have fewer natural ingredients than those I remember from my teenage years.
