Gets my bag down really small
I bought this bag to pack a sleeping bag down very small. I use a military green patrol bag as my usual bag due to my height (6' 2") and financials and I was able to get it down to a little smaller than a basketball. I bought a large bag, unsure of the correct size, but I'm positive a medium bag is better for sleeping bags. If you're looking at this bag I believe that a medium would accommodate most single person bags. The large size was still a major improvement over stuffing it into my bag.The sides of the bag are a thick nylon type material The overall design of this bag, while looking complicated, is very genius. There are 4 straps on each side and one of the straps has a buckle so that you can insert you gear and then re buckle it once in the correct position. The straps are smooth to cinch down and each strap makes it smaller and smaller. The handle on top is a nice feature. One thing I would like to see is a feature to keep the straps from dangling. Once completely cinched each strap hung about 10 inches. This does NOT affect the performance of the product!!PROS-quality material-thick straps on the side to cinch it down-design is perfect-packed my sleeping bag to the size of a basketball, could possibly go to a volleyballCONS-straps hung down after being completely cinched downI have been impressed greatly with the utility of this bag. The design is genius and helped packing my camping bag a lot easier.

Cheap price means cheap quality
I purchased three of these at the same time (two got shipped separately). They are made out of the same material as some of Nelson Riggs' motorcycle covers. The first one ripped at the bottom as soon as I tried to cinch it down, as seen in the photo. The other two held up ok the one time I used them, but I am being VERY careful with them all from now on.I figured that these wouldn't be as nice as my Sea to Summit bags. But, for how simple the bags are, I was hoping they would be nicer for the price. Next time I need more stuff sacks, probably when these break in a few uses, I'm going to pay the extra money and get something better quality.

Not Quality, don't fully stuff it!!
So far I'm not impressed. Maybe I have gigantic sleeping bags but I ordered the 35L size thinking it would be too big (with the next smaller size too small) and its a really super tight fit. It hurts my hands trying to stuff it all in and needed the extra hands of my 12yr old.Its really tight trying to compress it and I'm NOT getting a third compression by any means. The stitching is pulling and will rip soon.I only first used these on Friday for a camping trip that evening and then restuffed them (noticing the pulling stitching) on Sunday to come home.I had spent more at a sporting goods store for another brand that I have no issues with. Unfortunately they don't seem to carry those any longer but I think it proves that $30+ is not too much for better quality!

Exactly What I needed
I needed this for my sleeping bag for my 2000 mile motorcycle trip. Had to pack light, compact, and be able to resist getting wet. Do exactly what I needed.

Good Product From a Sloppy Vendor
4 stars instead of 5 because I received a return rather than a new product, without instructions or warranty information, and in a Ziploc bag. I kept it because the motorcycle rally for which I purchased it was coming up too soon. Buyers should avoid this vendor. Also, be aware that the straps tangle easily. Keep them separate if you can. Product performs as advertised.

... 5 stars just because I couldn't say that "I love it" about a piece of camping gear
Didn't give it 5 stars just because I couldn't say that "I love it" about a piece of camping gear. Works very nicely though. Light weight, well constructed. Been using it for a couple of years now.

Great Stuff Sack
Currently in the military. Stuff sack is great for Army issued sleep system, it has a label on both ends, so I covered the labels with black duct tape. I have taken stuff sack to 2 field problems, though they weren’t as arduous conditions most service members might be in, I’m sure the stuff sack would be fine. Great product, very worth it.

Usefull bag.
Fits my rain gear with room to spare. I ordered the large thinking that I can always compress the bag down smaller if I don't use all the room. Works like a charm and now my rain gear/ base layers don't take up a whole side case.

Quality seems pretty decent. I've been using it for almost a ...
It's smaller then I thought it would be but it does what I intended for it to do. I wanted a compression bag to keep my XL (7 foot) sleeping bag in so that it would be easier to carry. It's a tight squeeze but I can get it in here. Makes it half the size and more manageable for walk in sites. Quality seems pretty decent. I've been using it for almost a year and there's no signs that the material is starting to give despite it being under constant stress. Lived up to my expectations.

OK I guess
Does the job of compressing, but the clasps aren't that great at keeping things tight. I had to tie off the loose straps to make sure they didn't slip
