I'd give this comb 6 stars if I could. I've pulled enough fur our of my German Shepherd in a couple of minutes to knit a whole new dog. And he loves it. The cat also loves it and he's a bit of a nightmare to brush usually. If you're unsure, give it a go. Best grooming tool I've ever had.

Full disclosure my dogs fur isn't matted as I brush her every other day, however, she is a Golden Retriever with very thick long fur around her neck, chest and pants. This comb was amazing it has removed all tangles and thinned out the fur a great deal after just one use, its good quality and pretty sharp. Easy to use and hold. The rate or hair removal is unbelievable! The only suggestion I can make is that if you have a very furry dog like A goldie, shepherd or husky, use it outside. Don't make my mistake and "give it a go" in the living room, My front room looks like the scene in Gremlins when he spills water over the Mugwae lol fur balls everywhere!! I'm not convinced another dog didnt drop out or her coat and explode at one point ;)

Unbelievably happy with this product. Both of my boys gets brushed regularly with a comb but I’ve noticed some matting in my dual coated boy so bought this and tested on his brother first who’s fur very rarely comes out with the comb and seem to have lost half a cat in the process of brushing! It works really well, and they don’t seem to be bothered by the brushing (yet to see how the other feels) but this is a great product that is worth the money. 100% would recommend.

Great item, gets my dog's undercoat out nice and gently so she is a lot happier! Doesn't snag in her fur either.

It's sturdy and well made. Comes with instructions on how to use correctly and safely, so that you don't hurt your cat/dog. Perfect for removing matted fur. Worth the price.

My goodness, this thing is amazing. I have a ragdoll cat and I've been using one of those wire brushes (the ones wity the little nubs on the end of the bristles). Nothing much had been coming off him, aside from when I'd pick him up and get covered in hair, and he was getting frequent hairballs. Figured I'd give this a try. The shredded fur that comes off him is incredible, and his coat has never looked better. You do need to use it frequently (I brush him daily) as the first few times it can be a bit tough getting through his coat, but as the days go by and there is less shredded fur, it gets easier. Happily he loves being brushed!

Only advice be careful as it can pull on the coat which makes it uncomfortable for your pooch, other than that really great product and removes lots of fur.
