We have had a hand held Dyson for years now and my wife specifically like it as she doesn't have to pull out the full size device and clean when the small one works for the task. Well it no longer holds a charge long enough to do the small tasks she uses it for and asked me to get a replacement device.I looked up the new batter and installed after it arrived and she is happy to have her charging device working like a champ.

Fits and works great with V6. After a year, battery power still holding on. Revived my vacuum.

The original Dyson battery lasted 3 years in an everyday use vacuum, which is 2 years shy of the average expected life cycle of a Lion battery. Disappointing. This battery managed to puke out in 6 months. INFURIATING! I work in maintenance and use battery powered tools ALL THE TIME. I have never seen a respectable battery die in less than 3 years unless it was used hard and treated badly. The manufacturer says to remove the battery from the charger when it is fully charged, and would likely blame me not doing this as the reason for failure. I have never removed my batteries from the charger unless I needed to use them. None of my friends and colleagues ever remove them from chargers unless they are going to use them. And i have batteries going strong that are closing in on 6 years. Lame excuse verses many years of knowledge and experience, you tell me who's wrong.Easy to install? Yes. Works well immediately out of the box? Yes. Looks similar to the original? Yes.Lasts a reasonable amount of time per charge? Initially. Lives an expected life cycle of a normal quality Lion battery? Absolutely not.This was actually the second one I bought. The 1st one is about 2 months older for the same style vacuum that gets used about twice a week. That one is about to fail as well. Take it from trial and error by a guy that uses battery powered tools almost every day for the last 20 years folks. These batteries are absolute garbage.

The replacement battery device fit properly on the sweeper housing and after charging my Dyson sweeper is back in operation.

Works well. My Dyson barely gave me 3 minutes of powere on mas suction. With this new battery, I get about 30 minutes of power.
