NYDJ Women's Teresa Trouser Jean

I really wanted to like these pants. I’m 5’5”, 150 lbs with slim legs. I normally wear a 8, sometimes a 6 depending on the cut. I do not buy petite pants because they’re usually short just enough to look wrong. As per instructions, I ordered a size smaller (6). Waist fit fine - even a little snug but that’s where the fit stops. Wide leg is definitely the description because they are WIDE. My height is in my torso so the length is way too long. I would have to bring them up at least 6” with heels, definitely more with flats. Quality appeared really good but because of the fit, I can’t really say if they’ve comfortable. Sadly, I am returning them 😞

I had tried NYDJ a few years back and was not a fan. They just looked frumpy. But I had been searching for a trouser/wide leg jean and didn't want to pay some inflated price for a brand like Paige or Joe's. I saw these on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give them a try. They are pure awesomeness! It's like someone made them just for me. Soft, stretchy, super flattering. For reference I am 5'9", 150 lbs and typically wear a size 8, but I went with their recommendation to order down a size, so I got a size 6 and they fit perfectly! I am now going to order another pair in another color. I like them that much.

These are really good quality. Not too thick and not too thin. They are smaller in the waist and full from the butt/hips down, which is a huge help for those of us who are much smaller in the waist but larger in the rear and thighs. They are a wide leg and, from what I've seen of this style, they seem to be right on trend.I'm not fond of the front pockets, which are small coin pockets. I keep trying to put things in them like they're regular pockets, which is obviously frustrating. And they are positioned right under the waistline and I have to wear a belt, so it's difficult to even put small items in them.They are long, and I am only 5'4" with very short legs, so I had to hem them about 2 or 3 inches. Multiple length options would be beneficial. I imagine if I were tall they might be a little short (but I don't know that for sure).Overall, the jeans are nice. A little pricey, but nice.

Great fabric and fit, although I did go down a size as recommended. Ordered a second pair. Very comfortable and flattering. Love these jeans!

Classy design but VERY LONG. Definitely not for petite women.

This is definitely a quality pair of jeans, and I REALLY appreciate those reviewers who included height, weight, and body measurements in addition to their insights in their reviews. I read so many reviews and quite frankly was very confused and ordered larger than I needed plus being in a guessing game when it comes to clothing from overseas...it's difficult to decide without having to purchase more than 2 in different sizes...something I think most of us can relate to. However, you get what you pay for. With so many positive reviews for NYDJ, I decided to spend a little more and give these a try...and I'm glad I did! Obviously our body types differ and we all have preferences in how we like clothes to fit. For reference I am a little over 5'8", 165lbs, 44"hips, 34" waist and 32" inseam. I ended up purchasing a size 12 and I could have nicely fit into the size 10. I will return the 12 and get the 10. The jean fabric is mid weight, soft and well sewn with just the right amount of stretch. Very comfortable even if a little loose, but fixed by sizing down one size. Love the wide legs and how the jeans give shape around bottom and thighs without being too tight. I would highly recommend this product.UPDATE: STILL IN LOVE! I have had these jeans a couple of years...I had also bought 2 pairs of the optic white, which also fit beautifully. All 4 pairs of this style are my absolute favorite go to jeans. They wash up like a dream, I put in dryer for 15 mins with a bounce dryer sheet, then take out, hand smooth and hang to completely dry. They dry a tiny bit stiff, but as soon as I shake them out and fold to store, they're soft again and look brand new. The optic white gets the "normal dirty", however after spot treating and washing, the fabric releases stains and also look new wash after wash! I adore the NYDJ brand...definite quality and consistency. Waiting on my 5th pair of "Rinse" color to arrive...I'll update again soon. I have NOT been compensated in anyway for my reviews...I just love these jeans that much!

The size 10 only fits in leg length. The body is too big. The body of the size 8 fits with the leg length 3" longer than the inseam length of the size 10. That makes no sense, therefore what we have with this company is pants requiring tailoring no matter what size is chosen. It is just too risky to buy from this brand.I just cancelled other orders I made within this line due to the manufacturer showing no consistency within sizing.I narrowed down that the size 8 fits my waist, hips, and legs EXCEPT the length of the size 8 is 3" longer than the size 10, therefore too long. I will not pay for tailoring nor do it myself.The size 8 fits my body but the leg length on this pair is 3" longer than the leg length on the size 10 which I am also returning. Size 10 body is too big but leg length fits 3 inches shorter than 8 !

This pants fit perfectly and sooo comfortable. Lots of compliments!!

Well made with a great fit. I’m 5’4” and glad I can see because I needed to turn the hem up at once and re-sew it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE, I ordered a pair last year. They are long and will need to be hemmed but the rest of the fit is perfect. They are good for casual or dressy attire. I've lost some weight this year, so I had to order a new pair at a smaller size. I'll never buy another pair of jeans anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

They fit me like they were made for me! I’m in love. There’s no weird lines or wash, they have lots of room in the calf. They are long enough to wear with a boot, they have plenty of stretch for bending and squatting and best of all they are very flattering. A bit pricey but worth every penny!

Desde que descubrí esta marca de pantalones, ya no quiero comprar de ninguna otra, son comodísimos, ademas de que dan forma al cuerpo y de largo me quedan muy bien (mido 1.80) estaba harta de tener que usar pantalones que me quedaban cortos

Ajusta perfecto y como es strech puede quedarle a personas más delgadas o más llenitas. Súper buena calidad.Son algo caros, pero valen la pena.
