Trail-A-Bike Back Rest

Q: My son is 3.5 and never riden a bike so I am not sure about his balance. Will this back rest keep him on the bike if he lets go of the handle bars

Yes, my son couldn't reach the pedals or handle bars when we started using it a year ago.

Q: Does the back support slide up and down (is it adjustable) on the metal pole? There are not enough pictures.

Hi Julie, there are two positions for the back rest. One would need to unscrew it from one setting and then screw it into the other. Not hard but not an adjustment to make each time you go out to ride. Then other item to look at when setting up is whether or not the seat can be adjusted forward or back to get the right position and check the seat tube size to make sure the back post fits snugly.

Q: Does the adams back rest fit a weeride copilot?

Depends on the seatpost diameter of the wee- ride. The Adams backrest has two adapters and if one fits it should work

Q: has anybody had any luck with getting the post? mine also came without a post. we are heading to a place with wonderful biking trails.

This backrest comes with the post, backrest and pad. Plus all hardware. Some sellers that do not know the product are just sending the backrest and pad that is just a replacement part. Order from a bike shop or someone that knows this product. We check every one of these before we ship!
