I purchased this because I make homemade stocks and broths. This is a great piece of equipment. This is huge and meant for a catering company or a restaurant. I went to culinary school and we would this size when hundreds of gallons worth of stock. You need to have the place to store it as it does take up a lot of room. I love it and I love the quality. It is fairly easy to clean and does fit in my dishwasher. This meets my needs, but I could see it being a little much for your average home cook.

I am a professional chef and my kitchen needed a decent china cap and this fits the bill. It is a great size for straining everything from #10 cans of product to stocks to putting a filter in to strain the deep fat frying oil. It is sturdily made and the finer mesh catches most debris. It is a great buy at this price.

I was looking for a China cap equivalent to those in commercial kitchens. The size and price are great, but the seams and rivets (especially at the handle) seem like they may not hold up with long-term use, but for now it was a worthwhile purchase.

Works just like I wanted.
