OMG!!!
Let me start by I rarely write reviews and I could not get to this product fast enough to write this review. I burn incense every morning when I wake up to start my day calm and get the flow of the scent through my home. I do have my favorite (lavender) thatโs very tranquil. I decided I wanted something fall/winter and I came across this brand and reading the previous reviews was a little skeptic but ordered it anyway. I could not wait for morning so I lit one last night and it made me feel like I was sitting in my backyard next to the fire pit and the scent of the hickory was โSPOT ON!!โ Iโll be ordering the mesquite once Iโm done with this review! Iโm sooooo genuinely impressed!! The square stones stood upright by themselves no problems there and lighting it and keeping it lit was great also! I use a torch lighter and those work best for any type of incense. You have my business forever!!!!

Awesome Real Wood Incese Creates Aroma of Real Fireplace
This is excellent quality. I discovered this when I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in Albuquerque. They use several varieties of this wood incense in common areas to give the scent of wood fireplaces, since all their fireplaces are gas. They used primarily pinon pine and cedar. For two days I was trying to figure out which fireplace was the wood burning one. This lights best using a butane lighter for about a minute on one end. Then you toss it into a bowl filled with sand or other sturdy incense burner. It burns for maybe 15 minutes and smells exactly like the indicated wood variety (since it is made of real, compressed sawdust of that type). Just like a wood burning fireplace, the scent lingers in a room for a couple days thereafter. A side benefit is that the carbon particles from the smoke will neutralize other odors (cooking, stale house, etc.), not just mask odors. This smells like hickory (if you don't know what that smells like, you've lived a deprived life and need to try barbecue or go camping). There are several varieties you can combine or alternate for your own preference. I suggest the sampler pack from the same manufacturer if you haven't tried this before. Awesome product.

Smells good but like a bird fart it doesn't last for long
I'm not big into scents that are unnatural or overpowering so finding these hickory scented incense was awesome. They do light fairly easily and burn completely as I have used several. The smell is nice and balanced but I'm glad I bough the 100 piece set as these only last the said 10 minutes. That's kind of annoying as I would like to see other size options for a longer burn. With this, their small size doesn't lend itself to a whole home fragrance. It's good for my fairly small office but not for my open area main room which has a wood fireplace. Would I recommend these or buy them again? Well for the price, size, and competitive offerings they just make it over the line of YES. I only wish they was ever so slightly bigger but looking at the competition this is the norm.

Really like this incense.
Smell like they are suppose to. Thank you Eva and Aneesha for packing them whole and not dust.

Definitely hickory!!!
Bought this for a little log cabin holder I have. Hickory on the fire is my favorite smell! This is a bit overpowering and sad to say the scent doesnโt stay in the air very long. Still love it though

Smells only when burned
The hickory smells exactly like that wood burning smell in the wintertime. Takes a second to light up, but it is very good and earthy. Definitely will be buying again when I run out!

Sampler First; 100 Count Second!
--Edit-- The amount of these things that I burn through is astounding... Like 100 in 2 weeks. No joke. Here's some tricks I've learned: 1. Get some cheap tealights/small candles and use one of those to light your incense. Stick the end in the flame, hold it there til it catches, wave it out, voila. This is way easier than wasting lighter fluid. 2. Have a metal stick-like object (tiny screwdriver works) nearby & use it to clean out the holder every single time you burn through one of the sticks. This will minimize residue buildup & extend the life of your holder 3. Have an ash tray nearby to dump the ashes in before cleaning out the holder & lighting a new stick. Happy burning! ---End of Edit--- I first ordered the scent sampler and then decided to buy a 100 count of the Hickory because I saw that the 100 counts came with a different holder. Both orders were well-packaged. The holder that comes included with the 100 counts is way easier to use than the one that comes with the sampler, so I'm glad I bought it! I honestly love all of the different woods and will probably get Pinon next. I really didn't know which to choose when moving to the 100 counts :) Leaves my home smelling like a campfire!

Smells great
This brand of incense is the best, no doubt about it. The price is marked up over 130% from the US MSRP though. 5 stars for quality, 1 for price.
