Mizuno Men's Wave Lightning Z WH-BK Volleyball Shoe

I tried a pair of volleyball shoes from another major brand, but was disappointed so I came back to the Mizunos. These are solid volleyball shoes. Cushioning in all the right places and the best traction on the court! My fat old butt barely gets off the ground these days, but I swear I get an extra half inch out of these! Update: I've been using these once or twice a week for the last year and they still feel like they did the day I received them. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

These are really nice looking shoes. They are lightweight and feel good when I played in them. I need to break them in a bit so they're more comfortable but overall I really like these shoes!

I have worn these shoes for badminton for over a year now (played 3 tournaments with these on). My club floor is a bit on the harder side but these shoes have not only held up really well but I found them really lightweight, airy (less sweat compared to Yonex/Asics) and comfortable. During the initial break-in period, I twisted my ankle twice but I suspect it was due to my bad technique because after getting used to these shoes I don't even realize I have them on - in a good sense. They offer the right balance of traction and slippage on badminton courts - even when the court is a bit slippery. The only care I have given these shoes is a new pair of insoles about every 6 months and GoldBond anti-fungal shoe powder after every day of play/training.

Definitely worth the money. Fits perfectly and definitely one of the best pair of shoes I've bought. It's light, comfortable and provide excellent support when playing volleyball. Grip is amazing and it feels like you could fly every time you jump. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys the game of volleyball and need a pair of shoes for the game.

I had high expectation on these pairs after reading all the reviews. They are very stiff and not comfortable around my ankles. I play 3 or 4 times a week indoor volleyball. I had blister on my toe at the second time I wear them. They may just need to break in. I will try them again this week and provide an update.

These shoes are GREAT! They fit about 1/2 a size bigger than usual so if you are an 11.5 order and 11 (at least that's what worked for me). They grab the floor perfectly, they're light, support supportive and very well made. No wearing in necessary. If you have wide feed I would suggest the ASICS, these are perfect for normal sized feed.

The survey questions were a bit non applicable because these are volleyball shoes and I only wear them when I play. I had tried them on at a sporting goods store prior to purchasing online. They are a great volleyball shoe. Good grip on the court and they help improve your stand. Very comfortable, with great support.

My husband has two pair of these shoes. He now wears the older ones for everyday use and the new ones are his Racquetball shoes. He loves them and hopes to find them on sale again this year so he can buy another pair. He says they are lightweight and very, very comfortable.

Super grippy and comfortable to wear over many hours of use! Works well with active ankle braces.

Me encanta el peso que tienen, sólo que en lo personal se me hizo un zapato un poquitín duro para jugar voleibol - donde gira uno el tobillo para todos lados (es cuestión de gustos, ya que hay muchas personas que usan hasta estabilizadores). A lo mejor con el tiempo se irá amoldando. Anteriormente tenía unos wave-3 mizuno que al ser de tela el costado no tiene este problema. Insisto, cuestion de gustos. Todo lo demás genial, muy contento.

Very good volleybal shoes

The picture is deceiving. When I look at the picture it looks like a mid-cut; however, the shoe is not much more (maybe a quarter of an inch) then a low-cut. However, the support is good and the shoe is very light. The gum rubber sole grabs very nicely and, in general, the shoe offers lots of support. I use mine for racquetball and squash and am hoping I get lots of wear out of them. I shall wear these but again would have preferred a mid-cut. OK ... an update (October 2016) ... I have worn these now for about 8 months ... GREAT shoe ... awesome support ... superior grip ... light ... look good ... no sign of any wear and tear (and I play lots of racquetball and squash!!) ... I definitely recommend them for any court sports ... and the price is right!!

Awesome shoe. Great traction and durability. I definitely would buy again.
