OXO Good Grips Butter Dish

Very useful butter dish - attractive design, accomodates a single stick of butter, covers it for safety, and is easily wahsed in a dish washer - I have two of these, to have a new stick ready as the older stick is used up - will buy again

So sounds silly to make a review on this but I feel like we are not alone. For the longest time we would have butter out on a plate to use and it was tacky but it did the job. Then one day I came across someone having a butter dish and decided to look. Man, I did not expect so many options and especially with some of the prices! This product was just clean, simple and does the job! I like the clear cover because you can always see how much is in it, the measurements on the inside are nice and useful but all in it does the job without feeling like you over paid! Crazy though, I don't know if I use more butter lately because I can always see it and want to use it but it's been useful in the house and beats what we were doing before. If your looking to just get something to make the job done and not pay too much, this is it and you won't be disappointed. Plus I feel it is nice enough to work with the kitchen attire!

Very good quality dish. Grippy bottoms don't let it slide anywhere. It has markings for measurements but they get a little hard to see after having butter on it. Warm butter is so much easier to spread. Very happy and would get again!

The dish is functional and contemporary. It is air. Tight and clear.

I mean, it’s a dish that holds butter. The Butter Dish arrived in good condition, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. The lid fits well and it looks nice on the counter. Can’t really go wrong with it, works fine for holding butter.

I upgraded my butter dish and I love OXO products because they are great quality. This is no exception. Easy open, good seal. Holds a stick of butter. Does what I need it to do.

The media could not be loaded. Disclaimer, this holds a .25 lb stick of butter perfectly, not the .50 lb size.I researched this far more than I think was necessary, but apparently, I am picky about butter dishes. I purchased two so I could toss one in the dishwasher when I need to add a new stick of butter. I like that I can keep it on the counter and it looks fine with my decor. The cover is easy to remove, and the bottom does not slide when you use a knife to get butter from the stick. I think this is functional and looks good, so I am taking the time to write this based on the amount of time I spent reading other people's reviews before I picked this out. My adult daughters also think it does not look like "an old-fashioned butter dish" so take that however it applies to your personal kitchen situation.

This is a very nice and sturdy butter dish. Love the grip on the the bottom of dish so it doesn't move.

I have looked in numerous stores for a butter dish that holds the 1/4 sticks of butter. This dish is just perfect in size. Very well made with rubber feet so it doesn’t slide all over the table or counter. The clear top is made of heavy material more like acrylic, so does not slip in your hand when removing. I am more than pleased with my purchase.

Es una mantequillera sencilla, pero está bien hecha. Es para una barra de tamaño normal y se puede partir con facilidad sin que resbale la mantequilla ni el plato porque tiene algo de gomas (es lo negro que se ve)que se agarran a la superficie y así no se mueve.Fácil de lavar y mantener limpia porque la barra de mantequilla no queda justa. Es muy práctica para el refrigerador y muy presentable en la mesa.Muy ligera y al mismo tiempo segura.

Ela bem linda, porém não cabe aquela barrinha de 200g, quando uso tenho que cortar a manteiga, o que acaba fazendo que eu nem use.
