A little hard to install
But after I figured out you actually have to cut off part of the arm on your glasses it was a breeze. I was hesitant because the glasses were only a few days old and I was afraid of ruining them. Finally I just got frustrated trying to slip them over the ear piece so I cut it off and they slipped right in place. I never even glued them and their fine and never come off.

Great! I've waited decades for something like this.
I lost 3 pairs of Rx glasses within a couple of months of buying, a major financial loss. The reason? They wouldn't stay on - one pair fell into a drain as I peered downward while the other two I put down on a flat surface temporarily when they repeatedly slid down my nose and then drove away forgetting I'd left them behind. Ive avoided Rx glasses for decades (despite the fact that when my minor optical distortion is corrected, my field of view is hugely better) because the top of one ear is half an inch lower than the other and the ear itself is further from forehead than the other ear. Despite lots of assurances from opticians that their glasses would fit, none have ever fit and all have typically never sat horizontally (but at an angle) and have fallen off easily.I was delighted to find these on Amazon as an option and I've just fitted them to my most commonly-needed pair of glasses with bifocal lenses. While I followed the instructions, I was a little nervous to cut off the original side temples and to use super glue and I wondered whether to use epoxy. So far, two hours after using the superglue, these glasses are sitting firmly on my nose without moving and the cable temples show no signs of slippage. If they continue to work as they are now, I'll be one happy camper!I'm ordering a 2nd pair now.

They Work
My husband's glasses fall off when he bends over. A hobby gardener bends over often. Great solution to a frustrating problem.

Having problems with your prescription glasses sliding down your nose?
This has been a major issue for a number of years, despite frequent returns to my optician for re-adjustment of my glasses. They would install new nose pieces, readjust the temples, anything for a better fit, but nothing worked. Then I remembered I used to wear glasses with cable temples and began searching for them. I finally found them, but when I ordered them after my cataract and new lens implants in both eyes, the glasses cost me almost three times what I'd paid for earlier glasses!I found and bought the LMP optical cable temple retrofit kit and took them with me to my 'regular' optician. I was told the retro kit could be used with a limited number of frames, I picked one out, had the retrokit attached, and I am now a 'happy camper'. It's been weeks since I've required any adjustment to my glasses and I CAN SEE EVERY DAY!!!!

Work perfectly and easy to apply.
I have now put these on 4 sets of glasses over three years. All still work perfectly and are comfortable.

They work great
These are easy to install. They are made for legs 3mm thick. I had to grind mines to make them fit. They are good but a little too expensive. $20 for them!!!

Handy
My stepdad is old school, and was irritated he couldn't find glasses that came this way. This is the second time we've gotten these, only because he got a new pair of glasses and wanted them again on the new ones. The only real downside is cutting the earpieces can be pretty hard and it doesn't come with any kind of adhesive so you will need some kind of cutting tool (diagonal cutters or a strong pair or needle nose with the cutters) and some super glue of some kind

A Hassle to Install
Even for the mechanically adept, these are very difficult to install. I followed the instructions to the letter (and my metal frames met the advertised criteria - temple ends were 1mm) and I still wound up punching the cut end of one temple through the side of the rubber. I repaired it with a section of heat shrink tubing, but felt that would have been unnecessary if the holes for the cable temples had been deeper or better configured. The product does work for me, so I can't say too much bad about it, but it was a worrisome hassle to get them on. If I hadn't made them work, I would have destroyed my glasses frames by cutting off the temple ends, so these things are very much a one-shot success or disaster deal. Something to keep in mind if you're thinking of ordering them.
