Best product for indoor cycling,

I had bought this for my MTB bike, a Montra Rock 1.0D (27.5"). I knew that my tyres were slightly knobbly, but since they were worn out, I believed that the device's "Noise Reduction Tech" would be enough to make the usage bearable. Suffice to say, I was wrong. The trainer was very easy to install, with minimal fiddling required. However, I was struggling to maintain a contact patch between my rear tyre and the roller. The noise during usage was tremendous, but that is partially due to my ignorance regarding tyre compound. One BIG issue I had was the lack of enough resistance from the roller. The roller had 6 modes, but even the highest mode wasn't enough resistance to ensure even a semblance of a workout. However, I do believe that if I'd used a smoother tyre, or even a trainer-oriented tyre, the results would've been different. Personally, I returned it since I realized that I prefer riding outside. Overall, the product isn't bad, but I recommend that you ensure you use the correct tyre to extract the most out of it.

The product built is good. Very effective and easy to carry and move arround where you want to setup in the house.

Noise is main issue.. otherwise good and sturdy product..m not fully satisfied because of Noice.

Montage en 10 mn Effectivement il vaut mieux des pneus route que TT car en pédalant il y’a un sifflement mais avec un pneu route sur mon vélo de course c’est supportable et on peut écouter sans gêne un podcast ou autre … Il ne me reste plus qu’à pédaler

I was looking for a cheaper turbo trainer than Halfords versions. I opted for the Sportneer Magnetic version. I was a little worried it might not fit my 700 x 23C wheels but on arrival it was no problem to install. I bought the Amazon recommended speed and cadence sensors and the bike computer. All items team up perfectly and I was up and cycling in no time. The slot where the skewer fits on the skewer handle side does not seem to fit the handle snuggly in the cutouts for the handle as it seems to bottom out. But it is tight enough not to move after adjusting the thread. In low gears ( big cogs) the noise is very quiet on the minimal tread tyres on my racing cycle. As you go into higher gears you do get vibration and more noise but it’s not a problem for me. I have yet to try my turbo tyre to see if it’s any different. The bike is very stable in use and the adjuster 1 - 6 works well. I don’t know if the fluid version is much different to the magnetic but for the cost of the turbo trainer I think it is very good value for money and more than adequate for my needs. Well pleased with speed of delivery and item quality. The instructions were clear with photographs and in EN, FR, DE, IT, ES, JP and Safety Warnings in EN, FR, DE, IT, ES, NL, PL, SE, TR, JP, but close ups of a bike skewer fitted correctly would help. The instructions also come with photographs for a thru axle fitment but only the skewer arrived with the trainer. I guess you need to contact the seller if you want to use it with a thru axle or see if Amazon supply a thru axle version. The photo on the Amazon page which shows whether the turbo trainer will fit your bike is a little unclear and could be improved to cater for all prospective buyers and clear wheel sizes.

Product is robust and easy to install and is working well so far. I had trouble fixing the steeper knob on the bike handlbar though as knob clamp does not look fixable in all handlebars. You may end up fixing it elsewhere and not on the bike handlebar itself

The frame is very solid and holds the bike firmly. Setup was easy. Under load at moderate pace the noise level was acceptable. Certainly not distracting or annoying. At a higher pace noise level increased but again was not annoying (did not exhibit high pitch whine). I would suggest in a highly reverberant room noise level would be annoying especially at higher rates of peddling. I have mine setup outside so noise not an issue. If you were sharing a space indoors the other person would find it annoying. As a rough guide imagine the sound from a hand held cake blender. For the money you can't complain. I would suggest if noise is a concern perhaps look to the more expensive units.
