This is so good for helping this beginner figure out seam allowances. I began learning to sew 8 months ago and have struggled with 1/4” seams. No more procrastination
This review is for HONEYSEW Sewing Basting Tape ($6.99/ 2 rolls Oct 2022). I used this tape as a guide for cutting my fabric. I needed to leave an extra 1/2" around the perimeter of my homemade pattern. I transferred the pattern to the back of the fabric and then I placed this tape to guide me while cutting the fabric and sewing the edges afterwards. It is a time saver; I did not have to mark the fabric. It made my project easier. I used it on a vintage cotton fabric and it was very easy to apply and remove after finishing the project. It did not leave any residue on the fabric. This is such a useful item that you would think it would be displayed at the cashier area display at Joann Fabrics. I luckily stumbled upon this product on Amazon and it was perfect for getting my project going.

Good tape for straight lines
Works like I thought it would. Only issue I am having is when coming off the roll its sticking to it's and a couple times ripped so had to throw those areas out. At least it's sticky, haha

Perfect for half square triangles
Love this for half square triangles. Just put the tape on your machine throat plate and follow the lines. Lines are designed to go at the center of your needle and then there are lines on either side 1/4" from the center.
