Has anyone been successful in getting the fold out? I like them but won’t keep them unless I can make them lie flat.

I put mine under my mattress, pressed them flat. Left them for a week or so. It wasn't a crease though, they came in a tube.

Ate these actually oval? The description says round. But it also says oval.

If you scroll down and look at the measurements you will see that they are actually oval … they also have found in same color. The mats are very nice.

it came rolled up, how to make it flat?

You can roll it back then make it flat and put something heavy on top for a day or so. Good luck

Why are some of the placemats plain one side doesn’t seem like the silver thread went through to the other side I think it might be defective

Some of these placemats have silver threads and the others don't. For the placemats with silver threads, there's more silver threads in the front side than in the back.
