Freedom of movement and excellent comfort
I like the flex zone that is built into these boots. Also, my foot is wider but I don't wear a wide Size yet these boots have a little extra wiggle room, not a tight Toe box...I do grass, cutting and landscaping and these get a lot of hours and wear and tearI am also an avid hiker so I keep 2 sets 1 for work and one for hiking.I would not take these on the Appalachian trail. Because with hard use, things start to bust a part. And they are not the most water resistant. But for the price point, the flexibility comfortability. You can't go wrong. This is my second pair.

Lightweight, tough, but comfortable shoes
I bought these shoes initially just for camping and hiking. After wearing them around the house and work last week I find them to be a very comfortable option for work. It’s like wearing boots that feel like tennis shoes! They are very light and supportive. My feet also stayed dry in all the rainy weather. Very easy to lace up and optional “hook & loop”, design at the ankle. The easy bend feature/material, (between the bottom lace and toe), is a game changer! No long, “breaking in” , time.

I live in these
I spend my days either training field dogs or maintaining 33 acres of rough pasture training grounds. According to my iPhone app I average over 4 miles per day, over 300 days per year. Thats 1200 miles on my feet. Keen Ridgeflex keep me going. I found these to be the most comfort and support of any boot in my experience. I rotate through four pair, only Ridgeflex. Just disposed of the oldest while adding a new pair to the rotation.Recommended.

Absolute Garbage
If you have a friend who tells you these are the best hiking boots, unfriend them They are not your friend. If you like "waterproof" boots that start taking on water in multiple places in about 6 months, these are the boots for you.I am not a die-hard hiker. Three or four long mountain hikes a year, and walking my dog on nearby trails. Hardly a rigorous test of quality.Sure, they started out lightweight and comfortable. 4 stars for that. Then it goes downhill fast, and not in a fun way. That Patented "Flex" thing on the instep is the first place that fails to keep your socks dry. It cracks and separates and, unless you never step in wet grass or water deeper than 1", you're coming home with squishy socks. This was less than 6 months in. Then the leather pulled away from the heel. Then the tread pulled away from the sole. I bought these on 8/29/2021. It is now 9/22/2022 and they are in complete ruin. After the first failure, I wrote in to Keen corporate requesting they honor their "1 Year Warranty" with photos attached and never heard back. I guess they bought Columbia boots and took a hike. If I were British I would say these are absolute rubbish.Tell that ex-friend who recommended them. Make new friends and tell them. Gather a mob and storm corporate with torches and pitchforks, just don't let one more pair of these disappointing, shoddily made, overrated (I hesitate to call them) "boots" hit the trail.I beg of you.CameronChalfont, PA

Nice light weight boots. A bit wider than expected
Boots are really nice. Light weight and comfort. Fit to size but a bit wider than I have expected.Easy to care. Was walking 30 km only yet, so can't say how it will show on long run trip. The heel lock works great. The sole is quite slippery on wet wood and rocks. Some feeling that the insole is slightly shifted back and a small gap appears in the toe of the boot.Anyway, I'm happy with them as this boots are my first hiking boots so far.

Great Hiking/Work Boots!
I have loved these boots for hiking, especially in cold weather/rough terrain! As warm as these boots are in the winter, they are not overly hot in the summer either making it a good choice for multi-seasonal footwear! The rubber accordion over the top of the toes is very nice as it allows the boot to flex easily without stiff leather being pushed into your toes!Soles have been looking good for all the things I’ve gone through this past year! No signs of fast wear on the upper or sole.I prefer wide fit boots for extra toe room & a wide toe box and these boots do not disappoint. Very well made!

Comfortable but don't hold up well
This is my second pair of Flex boots and both have failed at the "flex" point. The first came unstitched where the rubber attaches to the boot (after a year) and these the actual rubber cracked after a few months. I really like the boots but won't be buying them again.
