I have tried alternatives to those cheap sponges I can buy in the store, but either the size or quality is wrong and it just doesn't serve my needs. How thrilled I was to find this eco friendly, "green" sponge that performs and acts just like the regular cheap sponges I can buy at my local grocers. And these sponges have NO PLASTIC in them, they are totally all natural made of cellulose (which is a natural product - I never knew that). When you are done with these sponges, you can cut them up and put in your compost pile. The price isn't bad either, considering you get 12 sponges for this price and they last a long time, just like those cheap ones in the stores. And this family run company is awesome. Instead of paying for advertising, they plant trees whenever they sell a package of sponges. It's a win/win/win all around. I usually don't write many reviews, but I just had to let everyone know what a great company and product this is. Try it today, you will thank me later !!!

Wow! Just wow! I love these sponges. They come in a tiny compact box and they expand once you get them wet. I use to buy sponges that wouldn’t last longer than a month, this one I’ve been using for a while and it’s in perfect condition! I still have 11 more to go. Excellent investment, clean product, gorgeous colors. Highly recommended.

Almost the same size and absorbency as the cellulose sponges I used to use for dishes or cleaning counters, etc.

I made this purchase to cut down on my plastic waste.. I love these! While they are more expensive than other sponges, they are durable, colorful and it makes me feel better knowing I won't be throwing plastic in a land fill.

The Box can be recycled or composted, the sponges can be turned up and composted as well.📚 The sponge rehydrated quickly and is very absorbent.📚 This works well for washing dishes or cleaning surfaces.📚 Can easily be washed by just throwing them in your washing machine.📚 Summary… I have mixed feelings on these: They are extremely absorbent and work great! I love that they are compostable, the sponges and the Box! They are compact and space saving. And, one tree is planted for every product sold! I love this! I was also reminded of why I don't like sponges. They absorb impurities and hold on to germs easily. And they smell. I don't know how anyone gets around that? They washed easily in my washing machine but still get that sour smell. I like that I can compose this instead of just throwing it away but I felt like I should have gotten more use out of it before I reach that point. At a little over a dollar per sponge, this is on the pricey side. I don't mind paying more for Eco friendly products but at this rate, they'll all be in the compost bin relatively quickly. Overall I would say this is a good product but it's a bit more disposable disposable then I would like it to be.

Being able to store 12 sponges in the space of one is terrific if you are like us and under the kitchen sink is crowded. The fact that the sponges are compostable and that the company pays it forward by planting trees is a very nice bonus.I profess no expertise in sponges but they seemed to perform as well as any I have ever used.

I used another leading brand of pop-up compostable sponges for many years. They were great, but one day I was lazy and instead of walking to the store, I decided to try these sponges that I found right here on Amazon.I use them both for surface cleaning and washing dishes. The fact that they come in multiple colors is a big plus for me. I don't want to confuse my dishwashing sponge with my kitchen surface sponge, or my toilet sponge with my bathroom sink sponge. My previous sponges were all the same color so there was more of a risk of biohazard contamination.These sponges are thinner and have a slightly larger area than my old ones. I'd say they don't absorb quite as much liquid, but in compensation it's easier to squeeze them dry, which I like to do for some reason. Oddly, I thought they'd be less durable because they're thinner, but they seem to be holding up better than the previous sponges I used.All in all, I'm happy that my laziness allowed me to discover these new sponges. I also miss the old commercials where a product would be compared to the "leading brand". Whatever happened to those? Anyway, I don't even know if the old sponges I used are the leading brand. Is there a commission that determines the leading brand of compostable sponge? Maybe this _is_ the leading brand.

We were hoping to stay away from water balloons and instead try these sponges. We cut them up and made them into star-like shapes, tying a string in the middle. When ready we submerge in water and they expanded beautifully. We played hot potato and drip drip drop. So much much

These are really handy little sponges that last quite a while. They come compressed into very thin flat sheets and it's extremely satisfying to watch them expand when you add water - definitely something to appeal to anyone who is a child at heart! They clean well and each sponge lasts me a few weeks of light use (dishwashing, wiping my kitchen countertops), though might only last one session of very heavy scrubbing fi you are using them outside of the kitchen. They appear to be home compostable, but I'm waiting to see if they really are. I'll try to remember to update this review when I see my finished compost in a few months time.I've already bought these again. Really impressed.

A differenza di altre spugne ecologiche che avevo acquistato in passato e che dovevano essere gettate nell'indifferenziata, queste possono essere facilmente tagliate a pezzetti e smaltite nell'umido. Ho notato che sulla confezione c'è anche un QR code che ti porta al loro sito web, dove puoi trovare idee creative per riutilizzare le spugne, il che è un vantaggio aggiuntivo.Passando al prodotto stesso, sono rimasto molto soddisfatta. Appena ho bagnato una delle spugne, si è gonfiata rapidamente. La spugna si è rivelata eccellente nel lavare gli utensili, ed è anche molto efficace nell'asciugare le superfici bagnate. Sono convinta che queste spugne dureranno a lungo, il che le rende un investimento valido.Personalmente, non utilizzo mai la parte ruvida delle spugne, quindi queste spugne sono perfette per le mie esigenze. Wow elles sont ressorties entière et je l'es aie réutiliser plusieurs fois. J'adore ! Écologique , compostable ... Que demander de mieux!
