I attached this to my front door so I am alerted whenever the door opens. The ring is loud enough for its purpose but not startling. The bell has distinct ring so it's recognisable from the background noise. Even delivery people praised this bell for its melodic ring

It's a good looking alert but I need something a little louder. Once installed it stayed in place and I like that. Could have used clearer instructions on installation (it didn't tell which side to place the adhesion). All-in-all and for the money, it was a good value.

We needed something to let us know when someone walks into the office and this was perfect and stylish

Placed on door of elderly independent residence. Easy to apply with either the magnet or sticker.Not an obnoxious sounding bell. Gentle sound, lovely to look at. Excellent packaging and delivery.

Makes a sound almost everything the door is open. Plenty loud for me. Just a simple alert. Hoping to get more. Just wish it was a little cheaper.

The chime is mostly really pleasant and it's easy enough to set off, but you could potentially open and close doors slowly enough for it not to go off. I say mostly because it can be a little loud and/or high pitched if it rings just right. I'm toying with ideas to dull it just a touch. If you're using this on a metal door then you are solid, that magnet is strong, but so far the adhesive has worked well too.
