Absolutely Beautiful Design, Rich With Color... With Ingenuity Sizing Issues Can Be Resolved
Received item this morning. It was very quickly shipped. The colors of the front of the quilt are vibrant and beautiful. Everything I had hoped for. It was three inches shorter than represented. This posed a problem as we expected an oversized king, for our split king. No such luck. The quilt was not oversized.We plan to compensate with a ruffle around the base. However the shams are WAY oversized... by about ten inches (five inches on each side of the sham, using king sized pillows). Loving the front of the quilt, the back was a disappointment. A drab blue & dark grey stripe pattern... no problem. Didn’t plan on using it anyway.We intend to make it work because we love the front design & color. It took two months to find the design & color of what I was seeking. (Okay, so I am picky.) it is perfect for our Rocky Mountain cabin. Greenland has beautiful designs. The mfgrs in China apparently are having issues with measurements.That said, I wish I had ordered a size larger. I will fill shams with soft stuffing instead of pillows and supplement with more decorative pillows. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the matching gypsy style window valances will be as represented... if so, we can work with it to keep the beautiful outer design of this outstanding vibrantly covered quilt. It is outstanding and the front material is quality. With a bit of ingenuity, we can make it work beautifully. For the price, the colorful design, and minimal effort to make it work well, it is well worth it.
