Clay works well, it's definitely better for older kids as it takes some strength to work the class softness. It dried/ and baked well. Terra cotta color!

First of all this is by far a superior clay you have ever used. You can mold it with no issues and it doesn’t dry up and crack. Love it for all our projects!

I used this with kids ages 10 and up to make small oil lamp pots for Easter. It was easy for them! I can't believe how fast it bakes. I used it for a church youth Easter activity and a family Easter activity, and it was a hit both times! The pots baked in 15 min at 275 degrees in the oven because we didn't make them very thick. I am going to buy and 8 pound box to use for Easter from now on! I love this stuff!

This is basic Sculpey oven-bake clay. It works as advertised -- it's not too old or dried out, and it is soft enough to use once it is properly conditioned. It is the color of terracotta clay, and I'm adding visual clay texture by rolling it on a brick. I'm using it to make game tokens.

Polymer clay with a natural, earthy look. I sometimes have a problem with polymer clay because of nerve damage, weak fingers so I was hesitant to buy. Glad I did, it was what I really needed for a project and it was extremely easy to condition and work with. It bakes to a color and finish that does look quite like real terracotta clay.

This clay works great. Roll and pinch it until it becomes pliable and then sculpt away.

May just be my inexperience with this type of clay, but we found it hard to manipulate. It took a lot of handling to make the clay pliable, and then it often crumbled. I don't know if you should warm it somehow or add water, like we used to do with clay when I was a kid in art class, but I didn't find instructions for doing that. I bought it for a craft project for church with kids aged 8-11, and even the adults had a difficult time forming what they wanted out of them. We still had a memorable time, and I will probably try it again.
