Best comb I have ever owned as an adult! Very well made, smooth all over, no rough spots, very solid and just feels so much better than a standard black plastic pocket comb. The sandalwood smells wonderful. Comes in a nice leather pouch. I carry this in my sports coat/suit interior pocket every day now. Worth every penny. Every man should own one of these.

I have very porous hair. It has taken a decade to grow it to my waist because the open keratin scales catch on each other; so I have to be extra careful with every step of care: sleeping (satin-lined cap), every day (oils), and washing (pre-poo, good products, and ph-lowering rinses). I also use smooth, wooden hair combs and boar bristle brushes to avoid breakage. This comb is a dream to use! The tapered ends separate hair kindly and effectively. The teeth are smooth; there is no jagged edge like in a plastic comb, which has one along both sides of every tooth where the mold separates during production. This one thing is so insidiously bad, as we don't think about it. Look at any plastic comb. Each tooth has a jagged edge where your hair pulls through in between two of them. This damages hair. More, the tapered ends allow for a very smooth entry into hair. I like this, because much of my hair is 30 inches long. I start at the ends and work my way up, and with this comb, I can comb my hair from scalp to ends with no pull. With other blunt wooden combs, I have had to press a comb to enter my hair. This ease allows me to pull the oils on my scalp down the hair shaft. I will use this comb from now on for all these reasons. If you have never used a good wood comb, and you have long hair, or your hair is porous or coarse, give this comb a try. P.S. I use food-grade linseed oil or marula oil to condition all my wood combs after cleaning. This comb is so well made that I don't need to condition it as often, as the wood is so compact and smooth. Truly, this comb is a lifetime investment. Thank you, truly! This is a quality product. Please don't change it.

Definitely what I was looking for, craftsmanship and quality is clearly visible. Size is perfect for the pant pockets or shirt. This clearly designed by someone who understands the requirements for this type of product. One feature above all that surprised me was how smooth the wood is, honestly I was thinking it was plastic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cool pocket comb that is not made out of plastic.

Comb is very high quality, and works very well. Not too bulky, but still feels good and sturdy in the hand. Smells good, no chemical smells, just the natural wood. Would recommend.

This is much larger than I expected. The dimensions are listed in the description but I did pull out a ruler and determine just how big this comb would be before purchasing. I've included photos next to a pocket-sized "unbreakable" plastic comb for comparison. It's a beautiful wood comb and I will keep it, but it will sit in a drawer/vanity instead of my back pocket.

I misplaced my other portable wood comb (a cheapy) and bought this as a replacement. It's a more expensive than my previous cheapy, but still very reasonably priced for a quality comb. The design is slightly ergonomic, and all the edges are finished and smooth. It glides through my hair, has a slight heft, and feels comfortable in my hand.
